Pours a rich deep bronze with a billowing off white full one finger head that leaves two rings of broken lace as it settles into a frothy mass.Nutty malts some spicy rye and sweet caramel and alcohol in the nose. The palate is pretty sweet with sweet alcohol and brown sugar flavors, there is some sharp rye and leafy hops but the sweetness is just as big. It's big and brash and the sweetness can be a bit much but the rye and hops play a big role.Good but not great in my opinion.

Amber colored with a half inch head of khaki colored head. Brussels lacing. Wonderfully seductive aroma of gently spicy rye and assertive piney hops. The flavor is almost subdued in comparison. The rye flavor is in the forefront with the piney hops complementing that very well. The rye adds a bit of lightly coarse texture while the hops give it a bit of stickiness.

Appears in the glass a crystal copper hue with a big off white cream khaki head looks beautiful. Fine even speckled lacing is left behind on the chalice it’s looking great.

Aroma big malt spicy rye and hops all day…alcohol almost brings a Rye Bourbon note to the nose with hints of vanilla and oak coming from pure malts/alcohol /rye additions…it’s great!

Flavor is huge waves of salty rye spicy malt additions with big hops and alcohol in the backend It’s like I’m sipping on a nice chilled glass of rye bourbon. Basil Hayden’s rye whiskey to be exact! Sultry with big alcohol and malt’s rye spice and hops come off earthy and huge in the backend imagine a barleywine that wants to put you into submission…that’s Rye Cubed!

Mouthfeel is full bodied from front to back of the palate even mellow carbonation honest to god it feels like sipping bourbon on the palate hot in all the right ways!!! A bit of hot alcohol but I forgive this beer, it’s doing what it wants to do as a Triple Rye India Pale Ale.

Overall, this beer sets out to do what it wants to do without asking any questions. It slaps you around in an abusive way yet still remains likeable that’s a hard path to head down.

2014 12 oz bottle in a pint glass.
Deep amber with a durable, creamy head.

Aroma: grassy, flowery and spicy with a hint of bread.

Flavor: wow, all the hops you'd expect in a DIPA (at least from the Eastern U.S.), and a load of balancing swet malts. This even tastes a touch sweet for just a moment near the finish but is overall mildly bitter.

Feel: very smooth and full for style.

O: excellent DIPA, especially for those who prefer limited bitterness.

16 oz poured into goblet

A: murky dark orange Amber color not much head beer laces like crazy

S: resiny as hell some rye on the nose

T: Drinks like a barleywine huge resiny hops a little rye but mostly bitter hops in over the tops malts

M: a little sticky slightly clingy medium heavy body

O: drinks thick not a bad resinous bite it's not too bad but not something I'd want more than one of.
