Pours a hazed chestsnut brown with a clingy thinner off white head atop. Some fresh chili notes in the nose with very light brown sugar,I would have liked a little more form the nose. The chili'es are no joke on the palate with the fresh roasted flavor dominating over top of bitter chocolate and earth.I wanna like this beer more than I do because I like the chili spice but there just isn't enough of everything that goes with it like chocolate, earth, brown sugar etc....It's a decent beer and I really like the spice, just kinda balance it out a little.

When I opened the bottle the carbonation actually started to slowly erupt out of the bottle. It fades to a quarter inch tightly knit mahogany brown head. Brussels lacing. This brew is deep dark brown colored and not much light is creeping through. I smell plenty of rich dark brown chocolate brown and spicy chili pepper. The taste is a complicated blend of rich dark chocolate and spicy chili peppers. The heat is a deep, yet moderately playful burn. I could not stand more than a sip of Stone Punishment, but this is a much milder experience. The mouth is thick, carbonated and with moderate heat.

22 oz bottle that became volcanic upon opening ... Perhaps a consequence of recent travel.

Aroma. Cinnamon, chillies, other spices.  Layered and complex.
Flavor plenty of chillie pepper in here, with medium (for beer) heat. Still, less pepper and pepper heat than the nose suggests.

Near mild burn in the medium body, medium carbonation.

O: a very interesting brew that is worth trying.

Not impressed with this. Can smell, and possibly taste the peppers, but little to no brownie noticeable to me. Not sure what I expected, but this is not something I would drink again
