22 oz bottle. Pours an inky black color with a mocha head. Settles out into a thin retention ring with moderate lacing. Aromas of sweet sticky caramel, coffee, chocolate and rich dark malts. Flavor is dominant with a candy sweet caramel flavor. The coffee is here but takes a backseat to the richness of the caramel and fudge-like flavors. Nicely put together though I'd like a bit less sweetness.

Wow. Great dessert beer. This is dead ringer for tiramisu. Amazingly light for an 8.5% beer. Cinnamon, coffee, biscuit malt. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

A: pours black with a finger of tan head that fades into a frothy ring with little lacing.

S: tons of vanilla on the nose with caramel and burnt sugar. Sweet chocolate comes through on the finish.

T: vanilla, burnt sugar, and caramel dominate with milk chocolate and a bit of bitter cacao.

M: medium-thick body with low carbonation, this beer is a bit watery.

O: a tasty, if simplistic, beer. Tons of sweet notes, but it never becomes cloying.

pours an opaque dark brown with a medium head. nose; doesn't even smell like a beer... it has the most convincing dessert aroma of any beer i've ever had. nose is an extremely rich buttered toffee, cocoa nib, light sweet chocolate fudge & espresso. taste; buttered toffee, dark malt, espresso, cocoa, light milk & hops. taste profile is very de-bittered and cold toddy. medium carbonation and heavy, lively mouthfeel. another winner for terrapin's reserve series. they really go for outlandish experiments, and most of them turn out great! among the best milk stouts i've tasted, with a nose that is truly amazing; it's hard to overstate the toffee and butter notes... there's magic afoot here! :)

A: dark brown to chocolate. No head.

S: coffee. Tiramisu. Vanilla. Smells amazing

T: coffee. Choc covered espresso bean. Vanilla. Mascarpone. Sooo good.

F: smooth and clean. Finished like velvet.

O: I love this. Like tiramisu liquid form. Not too sweet. But enough to make it exciting.

Terrapin redeemed the misery that was their last reserve offering (Maggie's). The nose on this was excellent and feel was surprisingly good for its abv.
