Eh - ive been on a gose kick for 3 years now and this is not very sour, with light watermelon taste. Westbrook goses are still what i believe is best overall, with dogfish seaquench an honorable mention

Overall decent body with about medium carbonation.. aroma of wheat/grain, watermelon, and watermelon rind. Mild sweetness, not too much salt or sour element. The watermelon was obvious in the taste and it didn't come off artificial. Overall it was refreshing and works really well as a summertime, just finished mowing,or having a bbq beer

Pours from can into tall glass a golden amber with minimal head that quickly dissipates. Aromas of saltiness and watermelon from flesh to rind. True to a gose this is immediately tart with a saltiness that hits the palate followed by clean refreshing notes of melon. It’s distinct carbonation and tartness makes this a great choice for summer enjoyment. Can see myself selecting this again given the opportunity.

12 oz. can poured into a tulip glass.

L---Slightly hazy. Light golden color. Nice white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. Carbonation was bubbling up from the bottom of the glass.

S---Smells sour, like a proper gose. Watermelon is definitely present. Some brine/saltiness in the background.

T---Juicy, like a watermelon. Saltiness shows up more in the taste than nose. A bit of sour funkiness.

F---Quenching. Both tart and juicy.

O---Tried this one on the recommendation of the beer guy at my local Wegmans. It was worth it. Nice beer. I can really see this one as a go to in the summer.

Fantastic take on watermelon beer. Poured at the brewery into a 16oz glass. Small head, but great watermelon taste that lands farther on the sweet side of the spectrum than sour. It's got a great, refreshingly light feel to it too. Definitely a must-get for watermelon beers.

Best before date of 11/24/17

Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and golden orange in color with a white, finger width head that displays sub-par retention, resulting in a mostly barren surface and a razor thin ring around the edge of the glass.

Smell - Aroma is fair with light watermelon being the most prominent aspect. A bit of wheat. Faint spice and salinity.

Taste - Follows the nose, but the flavor is more assertive. Tart watermelon and a salty bite upfront and throughout. Hints of lime creep in mid-taste and into the finish, leaving a watermelon, lime and salty finish. Simple but refreshing and delicious.

Mouthfeel - Light in body with light carbonation. Slick, easy drinker. Relies on the tartness of the flavor to keep the brew lively.

Overall - It's not the best gose I've had, but it's probably the best watermelon infused brew I've had to date. Wish I'd grabbed a sixer rather than two cans.

Can to snifter....right after the Westbrook Gose and Westbrook Key Lime Pie Gose.

LOOK: Yellow, no head. Touch of haziness, but mostly clear.
AROMA: Big Watermelon and some wheat.
TASTE: watermelon, mineral, a little salty in the finish.
FEEL: pretty flat. touch of that sour bite, but otherwise dead.

OK, lots of watermelon flavor but lacking elsewhere. nothing special.
