Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of sour watermelon and slight fruitiness. Tastes of sour watermelon and some other light grain. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Pours slightly reddish-yellow, slightly hazy with moderate carbonation and a well developed head. Aroma is watermelon. Taste is sour, perhaps more tart than anything, and is very like watermelon. This is a true gose and is mouth-puckeringly tart with bitter at the end.

Watermelon Gose pours a pinkish color with a minimal head. The aroma is weak, with some watermelon notes. The flavor is sweeter, with lots of fresh watermelon notes—Good body and feel. Overall, a sweeter, lighter beer, very refreshing, with its watermelon flavors.

Terrapin Watermelon Gose has an extremely thin head of foam, but it resonates lots of crackle. The appearance is of somewhat hazy, yellow-gold, with virtually no lacing. The aroma is of watermelon, yeast, and cracker. The flavor is not unlike a watermelon-flavored saltine. Terrapin Watermelon Gose is not bitter, but is a touch sour. It has a medium body and quite a dry finish.

L - Hazy light golden with a offwhite head that dissipates somewhat quickly - decent amount of particulate
S - Hints of sweet watermelon and a decent amount of salt. Overall, not exactly the best smelling
T - Sweet, but decently sour watermelon with some hints of salt, yeast, maybe some pear and melon.
F - Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation - a little thicker than usual.
O - Overall a nice gose, a little on the sour side of things, but it works for this one.

A standard gose - I couldn’t really detect any distinct watermelon flavor, but otherwise it is a decent gose - body and tartness levels are accurate, just no depth of flavor

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 12/30/2019. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of juicy, lightly tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of biscuit, dough, peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of watermelon, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big juicy, fairly tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of biscuit, dough, peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of watermelon, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderate bready/grainy, acidic/tangy, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a delicious fruited gose. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of watermelon, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/drying finish; not overly lactic/salty. Great balance between authentic juicy watermelons, and Lacto complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Watermelon is somewhat present, has a weird aftertaste that I can’t put my finger on. Mild bitterness at best, drinkable but wouldn’t buy again. Their normal Gose is much better
