Just lucked out with this “find” from Terrapin. One of the best brews I have had from them.

Excellent head production, retention, and lacing atop a dark black brew.
Nose is a wonderful blend of dark roast coffee, brown sugar, cream, chocolate, and more coffee.
Flavor follows. It's a sweet stout, but balanced by huge coffee bitterness. Slightly nutty, with lots of brown sugar, coffee, and some chocolate and cream. I don't get much "Irish Cream" from this, nor do I know how they tried to achieve that profile.
A little thin, but very easy to drink. Quite lively.

Bringing a balance to the strong char, roasted grain, smoky cocoa and peppery character of the standard Wake 'n Bake, Terrapin Beer softens the aggression of roast with the sweet, milky creaminess of Irish cream. So savory that this beer may never leave my glass. ...or will it?
Black like coffee and topped with a loose but persistent mocha froth, the Irish Buh-Bye Wake 'n Bake pours with the same lush and lavish visual textures as the original, but its scent carries a little more of that creamy weight of heavy cream, vanilla and marshmallow over the natural perfume of campfire, Turkish coffee and cocoa. Early sweetness is much easier to find because of the soothing decadence of sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate, caramel and scorched toffee.
The sweetness is much slower to release as the cream and caramelized malts stew on the palate patiently and confidently. Trending roasty with French pressed coffee, baker's chocolate and black walnut, its earthen toasty, raosty flavors are highlighted by the alcohol spice of coffee liquor and a nearly mesquite smokiness. The soothing taste of vanilla, cream and caramel take the rougher edges off of roast even as the dark ale seems like slightly more bitter mocha latte on the late palate.
Full bodied and slow to turn toward dryness, the decadent marshmallow textures has the beer seeming less of a drinkable stout and more of an after dinner digestive, or a taste that replaces any desire for dessert. The spice of Irish whisky isn't hard to find while the stout drifts into a long linger of chocolate covered espresso beans.

Poured a black body with minimal head and lace patches down the glass. The beer has an aroma of mild coffee with some chocolate sweetness. Smooth and clean beer, medium to heavy body, real easy to drink, there is a balance that comes across as vanilla cream (Irish cream I guess) along with a mild, java-like/lactic coffee feel so it's more sweet than dry/coffee stout. Finishes clean, a little sweet, and is enjoyable.
