Pours a nice cloudy orange IPA color. Aroma is malt heavy, bit of pine, thought it would have more hoppiness. Taste is a bit pine, bit malt with a heavy aftertaste, and thats what does it for me. A little more hops would help.Nice.

Underwhelming in a crowded ipa market. Hop profile is muddled; nothing cohesive about how hops were put together. Nose nothing special. Just ok.

Best by: 12.19.14. Drank 11.13.14. 12oz bottle poured into a Mason Jar pint.

A: Pours a hazy bright orange with two fingers of bright, billowing head. Lots of big pitting, small patches of lacing, dissipates to a few small islands and a high collar. A fair amount of suspended particulates. Light visible carbonation.

S: Earthy, metallic, traces of what could resemble hops... but nowhere near enough to get past the grunge/yeastiness/biscuity aroma. Awful for an IPA, and to be frank, awful for any beer style.

T: Weak. Little to no clarity. Pepper and Earth. Bready malt, toasted biscuit... once again, awful.

M: Watery and bitter. Not much carbonation, dull to taste. Lingering earthy bitterness reminds me of how awful this smells and tastes well after I last went though those painful endeavors.

O: An incredible disappointment from a beer which I didn't even have high hopes for, just that it would be a decent regional IPA to drink in the Southeast. But this is not even close, not by a long shot. I'm giving a 2 all around for effort.

Maybe I had an infected bottle, but unless someone one day hands me this beer, I will not be having it again.

Received this as an extra in a trade and was really impressed. This is a great IPA for those who don't want theirs too bitter as it has a touch of sweetness to it. A great IPA for a hot summers day

First time trying this. Tastes like a DIPA (and at 7.3% it's pretty close), with a lot of sweet malt balancing the hops. And for those who follow my reviews (all zero of you), it's clear I'm a DIPA fan, not so much for the high alcohol content (though I'm not complaining about that) but for the sweet creamy backbone that offsets the alcohol burn and hops bite. Speaking of said hops, I think the blend of six used here makes for a good cocktail, so to speak, kind of how a Canadian whiskey blend smooths out the edges of the individual components. If you're a total hophead looking for a big bitter finish, this may not be your cup of tea, but it really works for me. Cheers!

Light copper color and light cream colored head. Pretty highly carbonated. Smells mostly pine with some citrus, taste is dominated by the pine. Was expecting it to be more bitter, but its not, and it drinks really well. Light to medium body on an overall nice IPA. Its not a Two-Hearted, but its a nice local beer on a trip to Georgia.

Average brew. Wish it had more hops as it's called the hopsecutioner but they are there just not as much for a seasoned hop head.

Poured into a straight pint glass: color is copper, transparent, head is light tan with medium and fine sized bubbles, nice lacing along the glass.

Smell is subdued malt, toast and caramel; hops come through quickly as light pine, earthy, slightly spicy.

Taste is fairly simple malt, light toast and caramel, then quickly overtaken by the subtle but bitter hop flavors which are earthy, lightly spicy and hints of pine.

Mouthfeel is fairly bitter, but this beer seems to have higher bitterness from the hops than aroma or flavor which is nicely balanced by the malt sweetness.

Overall, a solid IPA, slightly subdued aroma with a nice flavor and mouth presence.

Pours a murky golden color with an orangish hue. Nice tight white head with some large carbonation bubbles that leaves a nice wall of lacing.

The aroma is quite sweet. Tropical fruit notes from the hops are combined with a toffee like sweetness from the malt. Some apricot fruitiness. Not a big fan of this hop profile, which unfortunately you see in many DIPAs.

The malt is bready with honey notes and a bit of toffee. The hops are banging the tropical fruit flavor. Big pineapple and ripe mango. Strong apricot flavor as well. Quite sweet. A bit of a resiny bitterness in the finish.

The feel is moderate with fizzy carbonation. There is a nice carbonation edge to it which breaks up the heavy malt body and makes the beer quite drinkable. Mainly sweet on the palate but does have a bitter finish.

A well made DIPA but just not my cup of tea. Too sweet.

A: Light amber, no haze, slightly pinkish tone while pouring (before bubbles came out)

S: Hops. Grassy, planty, resinous, slightly soapy. Light malt present

T: Incredible burst of piney, resinous hop right up front. Soon, citric, floral hop notes blend in, followed by the balance of honey & shortbread cookie malt.

A: Smooth, with slight bready malt taste nearly completely smothered by the lingering hop bitterness. Floral & piney flavors linger.

Overall: A no-nonsense IPA, with plenty of big, bold hop presence throughout. While not extremely complex, several different hop flavors combine with a subdued, but essential balancing light malt for a well-crafted, completely enjoyable beer. The 7.3% ABV is detectable, but the alcohol serves more as a flavor-blender than a flavor element unto itself.

Nice color on this one. Decent hop profile, though could use more kick. Malt shows through more than I would expect, or prefer really. Pretty easy drinking though. Nothing really mind blowing in the end, to be honest. Decent enough, and certainly well made.
