Picked up a can at the supermarket. Poured into a pint glass. I liked the hazy burnt orange color and nice head and lacing. Smell and taste is very malty to me and less citrus than I hoped for a hoppy beer. Not my favorite taste. Kind of a boozy feel due to the malty Taste. I won't be seeking out more.

Reviewed from notes, I poured this into a pint glass the day I had it. The appearance was a nice semi-dark golden orange close to a brown color with a nice one finger’s worth of white foamy head that levels a bit and ends up dieing to a decent lumpy coating over top of the body. The smell had a nice combination of pine to citrus (mainly lemon and slight tangerine) to balance to a decent bready background. The taste was a piney and citrus sweet leading into a balanced breadiness that had a decent bitterness running about the taste buds. There is a quick citrus to pine balanced aftertaste with a sharp dry finish. On the palate, it sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionable aspect running about it. Sharp crisp carbonation defines the palate well and makes me think this is a pretty well done palate for its style. Overall, this is a very worthy AIPA to have again and would love to have this with its respected food.

Picked up a single at the Hilton Head Island, SC Kroger on Sunday for $1.49. Best by 9-23-17.

Beer poured golden orange with a decent white head that is retaining some lacing.

Nose is a nice combo of citrus and tropical fruits.

Taste is really well balanced between the ample caramel and pale malts and the citrus and mango hops. Finish has a touch of grapefruit pith.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly smooth.

Overall a very enjoyable IPA that i am glad i got to enjoy!

Pours a pale amber/orange from a a twelve ounce bottle into a ten ounce straight mug the same temperature as the beer. Nice two finger head that settles to a rocky off white. Small vertical bubble streams. Nice sticky lacing to the bottom of the mug. Hoppy on the nose but milder than expected from an IPA. Slight dank hops but buried by the piney hops and some sweet malts. Touch of diacetyl. Not the hop blast I expected up front in the flavor. Good sweet malt backbone. A medium bodied brew with a light to medium mouthfeel due to the excellent level of carbonation. Good balance. Piney/citrus hops tempered by sweet malts. A fine combination. Very drinkable. Sessional. This is a keeper.

Amber color with a 1 inch white head-decent lacing clings to the glass. Smells of a mix of hops with a fairly strong malt backbone. Taste is malt forward. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of hops but they are pushed to the back by the malts. Mouthfeel is medium. A decent IPA but just not my style. I wouldn't turn another down but not something I would seek out either.

Can dated 7/4/17. CBF pint.

A: pours a dark orange/copper with 1 finger bubbly white head that recedes to nothing.

S: this one smell pretty dead to me. Some grapefruit and a little sweet-ish malt.

T: dry, hoppy arrival. Heavy on the resin, pine, and vague citrus peel.

M: medium body, clean, with lots of carbonation.

O: not really my cup of beer. Lacking in the citrus and light sweetness I value in IPAs.

This used to be one of my favorites, but since the terrapin buyout I have noticed a swift decline in quality. What used to be a complex hop profile with a powerful malty backbone has evolved into a boozy astringent mess. Tastes like they just dump in sugar to boost the abv. Save your money and make a batch of toilet wine for the same experience .

Not the prettiest looking IPA, but it has such a great feel, and lots of good hops tastes, although it's a more dull taste than I'm accustomed to from IPA'S. I have no complaints. It's actually super smooth. It's great with food too, imo.

It pours a golden yellowish with a nice head that leaves good lacking on glass. The smell is piney with a mild citrus to it. Taste is well balanced between the bitterness from the hops and malts. ( I thought it would have more of a bite to it.) The mouthful is medium and overall a pleasant surprise for someone still getting use to drinking IPAd.
