Has a nice aroma, sort of earthy - malty. The taste is slightly less than that of other ipas / d ipas but bold nonetheless. If hops is your thing, and it is mine, you will like this Brew. It sits on the palate very well and is not in the least bit overbearing at all. Overall a very solid IPA that I would drink again.

Terrapin Hopsecutioner | Terrapin Beer Company. Poured from the can into a pint glass, the head's two fingers thick, with lateral lacing, and a medium gold body.

Smells kinda onion and garlic-esque.

The taste is like that, too. Personally not a big fan of IPA's like this.

Medium mouthfeel with mild carbonation.

I'll rate Terrapin Hopsecutioner | Terrapin Beer Company with a 3.75. Perhaps if I get a fresher can I'll re-review this.

Terrapin Hopsecutioner brewed by Terrapin Beer Company, with an ABV of 7.30% This American IPA pours out a deep golden amber color with a nice thick white head. There is a nice amount of lacing to this IPA , it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich with hop bitterness, earthy grains and malts. Lot of earthy tones in the smell of this brew. So far this is one inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is bold with hop bitterness. This American IPA has a bit of a hop bit to it, if you are a fan of hops this is an IPA for you. You also pick up on some earthy grains and malts in the taste, however they are mild compared to the hops. The body of Terrapin Hopsecutioner is a medium to heavy, to heavy. This brew , does go down nice, and would go nice with a dinner. It is hard to pick up on the 7.30% ABV in this brew. There is nothing to overwhelming about Terrapin Hopsecutioner, as long as you are a fan of hops. The mouth feel is Hoppy, Bold, Rich, Clean and Refreshing. I would look this brew up again if I was in the mood for a bold Hoppy brew. Overall I'm Terrapin Hopsecutioner a 4 out of 5. Terrapin Beer Company, did a nice job with this American IPA.
