Nice blend of hops ..

Bready slightly yeasty, some floral/pine hops flavor going on..

Had better , had worse.. Its drinkable but just kind of a middle of the road beer imo..

P- Poured from a 12 oz can,into a large Funky Buddha snifter.Best by 7/23/17.

L- Fluffy white colored head that stands 1 finger tall, with good retention and sticky lacing.Hazy golden colored body with an amber hue, medium clarity and distorted light showing through the glass.Heavy amount of carbonation.

S- On the nose I get bright citrus and tropical fruit hops, with some sweet bready malt notes.

T- On the palate I get bitter grapefruit and pine hops up front, with sweet malt and citrus hops on the back end.Bitter hop backbone and after taste, pretty well balanced.

F- The mouth feel is medium / thin with a silky texture on the sip,and slightly chalky after.High amount of oxidation on the tongue, with a dry finish.

O- This is a pretty solid IPA for down south.Good balance of malt and hops,in my opinion.I would drink this one again. Some IPA purists may not like it,but I suggest you try it for yourself.

A very consistent and reliable malt forward IPA.

Medium gold color a bit richer that other highly hopped Terrapin beers I've tried. White cap with good lacing.

Malt rich aroma quickly followed by light pine and citrus.

Flavor is malt forward and the brew is all the better for it. It's good to see a hop centric beer with enough malt to balance things out. Mid palate the malt slyly steps aside while citrus and pine hops take center stage. All these elements then blend into harmony and the melody carries to the finish. Very slight piney bitterness in the aftertaste in a refreshing way.

Solid, rounded medium-full texture balanced by carbonation.

I was expecting another bright hop brew in line with others I've had from Terrapin and this was a pleasant surprise. Enough malt to actually matter standing up to but not over shadowing the hops. Very nicely blended complex flavors that reveal more levels of subtlety and surprise as the glass is emptied. Some of the other Terrapin IPAs I can drink interchangeably but this one is a standout.

One of the best in the Terrapin Lineup. The flavor of the hops really come out in this one. I find the aroma to come across with hints of citrus. The color is amber/dark orange.
