pours amber with a solid head, not bad at all.

smell is nice, mellow hops and solid malt.

taste is bitter and kinda thick. slightly abrasive flavor. i don't get much fresh hop in this. it's not bad but nothing special.

disappointing for a fresh hop beer but not bad.

There is no legible date on the bottom of the can. Something is there...in ink spots..but it looks more like somebody blew Cheeto dust on the can than printing something that can be read.

Appearance: The body of the beer has a very nice deep bronze color and good transparency. The head is rocky and medium sized. Good retention.

Aroma: It has a nice floral hop aroma. There is just a touch of garlic.

Taste: Oddly it has a buttery start. That buttery flavor persists throughout the beer and really overwhelms the flavor to the point where it outshines even the bitterness. After finishing each sip of the beer that butter flavor lingers on. It's not a toffee flavor but an actual butter flavor. It is not flattering for the beer. Focusing on the other flavors I am getting a bit of that flowery character along with a touch

Mouthfeel: There is a bit of slickness to the beer. Drinkability is very low.

Overall: If you like your beer to taste like buttered popcorn then this beer is for your. Otherwise don't bother. I highly recommend passing on it this year.

Terrapin Beer Company - So Fresh & So Green, Green. 6.6% ABV. 1pt 3.2oz can split between snifters. Best by 4/22/16.

Look. Settled a translucent copper color, with a one finger head of white foam from semi aggressive pour; subsided fairly quickly.

Smell: Dank, earthy hops right up front, along with pine and resin. Some undertones of orange peel, lemon zest, and citrus fruits.

Feel: Incredibly light body, smooth and carbonated.

Taste: Dank, bitter earthy hops immediately, but soon mellows out, and some of the citrus fruits, and sweet malts come into the mix. It finishes crisp and dry, while being sweet and malty, but not before one last bite of hops.

Overall: Compared to other IPAs I've had, this one, while still being hoppy and bitter, also had a lot more malt and sweetness to it. Has a nice crisp and dry finish, and incredibly light body.

1 pint, 3.2 oz. can split between two New Belgium snifters. Pours a lively, orange/tangerene and settles a copper color in the glass. Great clarity, and a good amount of carbonation. About 1 finger of off-white, bubbly foam on top each beer. Overly sweet, malty aroma with big notes of grapefruit, mango, and tangerene. Sweet notes of ripe fruit up front on the taste with a strong, bready malt backbone. I get a little hop bitterness middleways that intensifies slightly as it warms on the palate. Decently creamy mouthfeel, albeit a tad watery and abrasive on the finish. Not too bad, though. Not much to comment on on the aftertaste - a little bit of hops and a little bit of bready malt.

Overall, this one was decent. Initially I got a strong chemical/metalic taste but I guess I got used to it quickly; it was gone after a couple sips. This beer is balanced pretty well, although quite a bit sweeter than I prefer my IPAs. Not terrible, but I wouldn't buy again. Definitely not worth the $7.00/can price tag.

Light amber with large carbonation. Earthy and citrus on the nose. Might be an old can, a little piney and grassy taste, malt. Good fresh hop beer; nice balance.

A: poured from a tall boy can into a pint glass, orange amber colored with a large foamy white head that lingers leaving good lacing, clear

S: green and grassy, light citrus, slightly earthy

T: grassy, grain, slight fruity bubblegum, onion, grapefruit, honey

M: medium body with higher carbonation

O: love the references to Outkast and the can fitting my imperial pint glass perfectly, malt profile is nice, equinox as the dominant hop is funky
