Beautiful looking beer once poured. Chocolate on the nose is not subtle at all but then again not designed to be, all I smell though. Taste is great and unlike the smell the chocolate adds depth to it and compliments the milk stout. Mouthfeel a little too thin for my tastes but just my preference. For what it is very nicely done, was expecting a lil more complexity but all in all a food offering.

look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Appearance:
The beer is a dark chocolate black. Some brown head is created but it quickly dissipates and leaves the beer alone. The liquid has a slight sheen to it as well.

Smell:
The beer smells wonderful and fairly simple as well as a straight forward. The beer has strong notes of dark chocolate and sweet milk. The smell notes also have a chocolate milk smell as well.

Taste:
The beer tastes exactly like it smell. Dark chocolate, chocolate milk, and cocoa notes dominate the taste. In addition, the sweet milk taste is also there.

Mouthfeel:
Heavy bodied and smooth. The beer has some carbonation but not by much.

Overall:
A pretty good milk stout that I will probably pick up again and definitely recommend.

look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 4.5

Appearance: Poured black and opaque, with one finger dark tan head. Good retention

Smell: Sweet and smoky chocolate milk.

Taste: True to the nose, sweet and like chocolate milk. Roasted malts round it out for balance.

Mouthfeel: Heavier bodied and decent carbonation, but smooth.

Drinkability: A very good chocolate stout. Has the correct qualities of a stout, the real flavors of chocolate, and the smoothness of chocolate milk.

Buy Again? Yes.
