Poured from a 22 ounce bomber into my CBS snifter.

Appearance: Pours a hazy orange color. Almost no head whatsoever...just a very thin white layer. Some decent lacing from what little head there is.

Smell: Starts off with some juicy hop aromas and then the Hefeweizen aromas come across...bananas some spiciness, a little bubble gum as well. Really interesting combo. I wasn't sure this would work but it really does.

Taste: Very similar to the aroma. Starts off like your average IPA. It's strong on tropical fruit notes but then shifts to the Hefeweizen flavors. Nice tasting.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a nice prickly level of carbonation. No alcohol is detectable. Drinkability is high. A very enjoyable drink.

Overall: Interesting take on the American IPA. Flavors work really well together. Well done by Terrapin.

Single finger head with nice lacing on a cloudy golden with brown hues body. Aroma is herbal with hops, citrus and corriander. More of the in tr flavor with a relatively complex hop flavor. Musty amd bitter hip notes. Medium body and moderate carbonation. This one is very smooth. Smooth for the degree of hop flavor and complexity.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish-orange color with a decent frothy, off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is caramel, wheat, floral and citrus hops, and a hint of banana. Flavor is moderately sweet, caramel, orange, and a bit yeasty. Medium bodied, spicy and bitter mouthfeel, dry finish. Good beer.

This beer was a hazy orange color with a small white head.

Interesting aroma. I got some banana, orange, and citrus. Kind of a wit/IPA combination.

Taste followed aroma. Banana, orange, and grapefruit. A little bit of biscuity malt.

Medium-bodied, fairly crisp.

I've had a few beers from Terrapin, and wish I could get them here in Maine.

Poured from a bomber into a perfect pint

A- pours a slightly hazy shade of orange with a three finger white head. Very puffy head, looks very nice

S- getting a lot of citrus coming out of this....getting more of a wit citrus aroma than an IPA citrus aroma

T- really wheaty, citrusy taste....very slight hints of hop bitterness. Comes off more like an American wheat than an IPA, IMO

M- medium bodied. About standard

O- I like this. No hints of alcohol at all in this one, the hops are all citrusy and juicy...well done, Terrapin

Hazy, buttery gold pour with 2 fingers of pillow top head. Thin lace. Very nice head retention.

Nose really wants to be yeasty but citric hops overpower that trend. Bit of banana bread creeping in towards the bottom of the glass.

Light wheat hit with biscuit malt. Hops take over, though, just as in the nose. Nice, dry citrus finish.

Surprisingly heavy body for the taste and feel of the beer.

Another nice offering from the Athens turtles.

Picked this up in Atlanta. No date on bottle. Poured from 22oz bomber into a tulip. A - Muddy orange with a white head which leaves moderate lacing. S - Fruity esters of a Hefeweizen with some underlying hops. T - Yeasty and with a nice bitter hops finish. Not overly complex but very nice flavor. M - Thin to medium body with little carbonation. A very flavorful beer. Would definitely have again.

light copper colored body with bright orange highlights. finger and a half of off white head quickly recedes to a frothy cap with clumpy lacing. i could smell big citrus aromas at arm's length away. taste is citrus hops and wheat. has a medium to heavy mouthfeel to it. a little heavier than i wanted with a good carbonation and a long dry bitter finish. overall a good beer to try.
