Poured a light brown body with some good head and a strong, although slighlty offputting, aroma of citric, even earthy hops and roasted malts, very strong roasted malts (could be toasted or burnt) and very little sweetness. Smooth, mellow, light-to-medium bodied, this beer goes down easy and has a little bit of caramel sweetness but is mostly a dry, minor hopped beer that gives off touches of bready chewiness and fruit flavors. I liked this beer but I really can't say anything stood out or it is something I would go for a second time.

A-red amber color with a smallish off-white head and decent lacing

S-malt, herbal, hint of fruit

T-malty with a light fruitiness followed by some slightly awkward herbal flavors, mild bitter finish

F-medium body with moderate carbonation, smooth

O-not overly impressive, but a drinkable beer

12oz brown bottle with a freshness date.

Dense rocky head, impressive with a clear reddish hue. Aromas of earthy malt, fresh grass, bread, and faintly herbal hop. Smooth, moderate sized body, wet, fresh grain, toasty, mineral, herbal, hay, very malty, hint of sweetness, clean, ample hop bitterness, drying finish.

Wow, Terrapin pretty much nailed the style here. Very well done.

A: Digging this nice amber look. Beautiful head to top it all off...or amybe that is just my supreme pouring skills coming to light again!

S: Eh...a bit like a blonde actually (wonder what yeast we get here) but there is a smooth citrus aroma that follows on the tale end. blends well to makean interesting pairing.

T: Not bad at all, reminds me of a smooth amber I had once form Williamsburg Alewerks...this has that great clean Alt taste too though. Love it!

M: Surprisingly heavy for such a lowly touted beer. I was actually expecting much less!

O: Very pleased with the flavor, the price, and the label (my favorite part of Terrapin) Buy it if you like the style, a good sample of it. I could even see a full sixer of this in the future.
