I like this brewer, and I love sessionable hoppy beers in a can like this one, which is closely related to my favorite of this style - Boat Beer by Carton.

A: Pours clouded apricot amber, under a 1 finger white head, that leaves lace dots for a light beer.

S: Hops sweet and high-noted: lime, ginger and mostly pine hops. Inviting.

T: Follows the smell. Easy drinking pale, with citrus, ginger and again much pine. Excellent juicy, fruity, yet drying finish. Packed with flavor.

MF: Good for a light beer, juicy and excellent finish.

I challenge you to beat this beer or Boat Beer in a 4.7% ABV. I'd buy this by the case. I hope it's as good for me as it tastes, and will also make excellent black and pales.

Attractive light gold color with thick white cap and good lacing.

Brewer says the aroma carries subtle peach and passion fruit touches but both are slightly beyond my reach. I get more floral with hints of spice and something more vegetal than fruity.

Taste is simple, straight forward hops the same as I described above. Still don't get the peach but there is something rounded about the flavor that is passion fruit like so the official description isn't wrong. Like the Brewer says, it's subtle. Finish is clean and crisp without any residual bitterness in the aftertaste.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Seems to be a run lately to create session IPAs that are not so hop forward as to be off putting to those with an innate bitterness ceiling. This one falls into that category. It's almost light tasting (the malt certainly isn't assertive) and the hops are bright without being bitter. Fishing beer.

12 ounce can, packaged on dating on the bottom of the can. (7/30/2013=not super fresh)

Pours clouded medium amber, under a looser off white head, that leaves nice looking film and some delicate low sheeting.

Lime, ginger and piney hops on the nose.

Easy drinking pale, with more citrus, more ginger and more pine. More then respectable sessioner. Dry finish with more of the some notes I got on the nose and in the first few sips.

More quality beer in a can, nice.

Can poured into pint glass. Burnt gold color with nice carbonation and one finger head that dissipates; a thin layer lingers. Peppery, resinous hops with earthy tones to nose. Light body, mild hops with slight pepper after taste. Truly a session beer.

Pale golden copper hue with a bright eggshell white head forming thick copious layered foam, fine speckled lacing left in even patterns with each sip. This is a great canned offering from Athens, GA. Floral, citric hop aromatics flood my nares, what a great smelling brew. Mild biscuit malt profile just enough to qualify this libation as liquid bread. Smooth balanced pale ale aggressive hops up front, a true session pale ale. Light bready qualities balance at the citric floral hop bomb that this low alcohol but high flavor ale has. Crazy drinkability perfect crisp bitter finish, with ample carbonation nothing is over done great beer. Overall a brew, I will buy by the 12 pack if given the opportunity.
