Atmosphere and quality here was great, everything looked like brand new and turnover kept old bottles out of the equation. The service was good, got asked a couple of times if I needed help. Selection was good but the local area isn't the best when it comes to beer selection, so for the area they're among the best. Value was good as well. As far as Evansville goes, this was among the best bottle shops I've been to.

This place is local to me and a once or twice a month stop for me. It is located in a large strip mall near a lot of the shopping in town. It is clean, spacious and well organized. They get as much or more top shelf beer as any place in town. They also get beers no one else in Evansville will have. Prices are good on most items. The singles cooler is overpriced and they won't break up a 6 or 4 pack oftentimes, even when you ask. The staff is courteous and helpful. That said, this is a wine store first and foremost. They don't have the biggest selection in town, but it is normally fresh and unique.

Nice, spacious, modern space. Not cramped/cluttered with boxes of stock sitting around the sales floor.

Good selection and well stocked craft section.

Friendly staff that seems eager to help but yet give you the space to help yourself.

Ample parking as it's in a shopping complex.

It's in kind of a cool location, but I remember a time when it was even cooler. There used to be a Best Buy in this complex... that's how old I am!

Atmosphere: Located right across from the Eastland Mall, lots of restaurants, and next door to BW3s and Coconuts Music and Movies. This place is very inviting upon first glance. It's very quaint, with hardwood floors spread throughout, and a refreshing smell always fills the air. This store is impeccably clean, with the beer in the middle, and the wine and miscellaneous booze surrounding it on both sides. The coolers and walk in beer closet are located in the back.

Quality and Service: I've never seen anything out of date here, but please understand that I usually come in searching for FFF, which doesn't stick around for long in ANY market. In terms of service, the last time I came in here (Christmas 2011), I found the employee who helped me somewhat knowledgeable. NOTE: I will never forget that when I came in here in October 2010, the beer guy gave me detailed info on when fresh FFF Dreadnaught would arrive at the store. I grabbed several to complete a local trade. I'll never forget that type of service.

Selection: It was somewhat measly around the holidays, but the employee I spoke with made it a point to let me know that that was not norm for the store. They did have some good stuff: FFF Alpha King (an entire end cap!), Robert the Bruce, Arctic Panzer Wolf, and others. It was the ONLY store that had Gumballhead in the whole area. There were tons of Boulevard selections, as well as Dark Horse, New Albanian... and of course many others. Overall though, this store only had the most popular selections and didn't have anything out of the ordinary.

Value: Everything here was right where it should be: Dreadnaught and Arctic Panzer Wolf for around $9-10, local sixers were about where reasonable, and the 12-packs were also on par with the area.

This store is best in the quality control area: It's visually appealing on the inside, there are no old bottles floating around, and it's in a fantastic area. Definitely worth a stop if you're sick of mall shopping.
