Coopers Cave Ale Company - Pumpkin Ale
22 oz Bomber poured into a pint glass
A - Pours a cloudy golden orange color, decent head and lacing on the glass. Some sediment settled at the bottom of glass from pour.
S - Not much aroma from the beer other than musty. I smelled at full, half, and quarter full and there was not much for the nose. There were some spices, barely a hint of pumpkin, more of a clove aroma.
T - Unspectacular flavor. As beer warmed the spices came out, as with the smell, Again, not get much hint of pumpkin.
M - Lightly carbonated, light to medium bodied, a bit silky.
D - An unspectacular beer, not heavy with a hint of spice. I certainly would like something a bit bolder. Goes down easy, nothing bitter about the beer at all. It is my first pumpkin ale, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I would expect a more distinct flavor.
