Unremarkable in appearance. Spicy, fruit note I can't quite place, nice finish. Not overwhelming taste, but pleasant. Recommended.

650ml bottle, a proclaimed 'Belgo-American Mild', due to, I would imagine, the Amarillo hops, as well as the Vic Secret, um, wait, Australian, ones.
This beer pours a clear, pale golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, broadly foamy, and somewhat bubbly off-white head, which leaves some splotchy and streaky splattered lace around the glass as it slowly ebbs away.
It smells of bready, lightly doughy pale malt, muddled tropical fruit (mixed melon, mostly), Belgian yeast, white pepper and coriander spice, and further leafy, weedy, and floral hops. The taste is rising bread, grainy pale malt, rainbow peppercorn, zesty citrus, earthy clove/coriander, a sassy Low Countries yeastiness, more dry white cracker notes, and a steady leafy, floral and herbal hop bitterness.
The bubbles are quite pervasive in their flitting and challenging frothiness, the body an adequate medium weight, and not particularly smooth, as the yeast and hop acridity settles in like a overstaying houseguest. It finishes barely off-dry, the same hoppy and yeasty character hell-bent on palatal domination.
Overall, an interesting meshing of brewing worlds, the Pacific Rim hops jousting with the old-school yeast and spice measures. Not sure where the 'mild' designation comes in, as this seems like a scaled down version of a Belgian IPA - ah, right-o, then!

L: Light gold colour, clear, an inch of fluffy, white head
S: Melon, tropical fruits, cloves, wheat, some yeasty notes
T: Citrusy, white bread, cracker, passionfruit, slight spice notes
F: Light-medium bodied, well carbonated, dry, pleasant lingering bitterness in the finish
O: A hybrid style between an american pale ale and a belgian golden ale, nice and refreshing with a good hop aroma and flavour but with some belgian yeast character to make things interesting, really enjoyable!
