The only BeerCode I could find in Porto Alegre was located in Shopping Iguatemi, a huge monster of a shopping mall. On the lower floor is a kiosk stand packed full of craft beer. You are greeted by attractive women in outfits that remind me a bit like flight attendants with a bit of car show girl to them.

The sign says they have 1000 bottles but I can't imagine it is that many. They have about 1/2 craft imports and 1/2 Brazilian craft beers. There is a small cooler that has about a dozen local beers but the rest of the beers are sitting on shelves. Many local beers were about 18-20 Reales for a 600ml bottle which I didn't think was to bad considering.

They had some glassware but it was mostly in gift sets from large European breweries, and I didn't see any local glassware. That has a good mix of styles with Marriage parfait, Ole Dubhs to lots of German lagers to Brewdog and Brooklyn.

I got about 10 beers there and they had lots of fancy tissue paper with matching beercode bag that felt very shopping mall appropriate. Overall it was worth the trip but I think I would rather go to a local store especially if I wasn't just visiting for vacation.
