One of the best goses I've ever had and I've had a few. Beer served in a snifter.
Beer is yellow, with a mild haze, decent head, no lacing, moderate carbonation.
Aroma is nice, mildly funky, a little lactic, a little sweet.
Beer is nice, not overwhelmingly salty but definitely there, a great little beer. Nice finish, mild funk, good lactic character. I could have a lot of this beer. Surprising to see it is 6%, not detectable at all.

And the award for the most growlers provided to a tasting group goes to...(drum roll)...drabmuh. Yet again, thanks Matt!
The beer appears clear and golden orange hued with a small white head. Spices, particularly of the Christmas (or holiday, if you prefer) variety. Pretty well balanced, though cinnamon stands out a bit. Only a light helping of salt. Personally, I like the briny quality of a bold gose, but this one is still pretty tasty. I would have it again, albeit in small quantities.

From 02/11/12 notes. Growler shared by drabmuh at a recent Cascade tasting. Poured into a tulip.
a - Pours a bright yellow-orange color with two inches of white head and low to moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells funky, of salt, citrus hops, fruit, and earthy notes.
t - Tastes of citrus, sour fruits, salt, fruity malts, and light funk. More sourness then the nose, and a step up.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty easy to drink.
o - Overall a very good gose. Haven't had a ton of them but this is one of the better ones I've had. Would like to try their other versions.

Smell: Light citrus, spice, salt, and funk with some floral notes.
Taste: Very nice, light salt and faint funk, along with some good citrus notes and a touch of pine.
Overall: very nice gose, I hope I can try this one again. Easy drinking and I am a bit surprised to see it is 6%.

Big thanks to drabmuh for securing this growler and bringing it to the Cascade tasting. Served in a Cascade Barrel House goblet.
Pours a fairly-clear orange color with a nice white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. Thin collar throughout. The nose has a nice combination of cranberry, citrus, and lacto. Nothing over the top, but plenty there.
The flavor hits the same notes, with the spice and fruit mixing really well with the acid. Very light salty note, which goes well with the acidity. Mouthfeel is very light with a dry, acidic finish. Really impressive from the folks in Portland.
