750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy deep orange. Medium white head and collar.

Smell - Raspberry. Wood. Sharp acidic aroma. Very acetic in nature.

Taste - Man it's sour. Intense acetic flavor. Raspberry. Pale malt. Wood and a sourness that gets into your nose.

Mouthfeel - Very sour. Medium body. Medium low carbonation

Overall - It's intense. Good flavors, but really really sour.

On tap at the barrel room.

A: Reddened clay color with a scattering of lace and leftover lace.

N: Cherries, raspberries, lactic acid, oak, black peppercorn. Hints of acetone and vinegar. Some dried apricot in here.

T: Starts out very sweet and them moves to explicit sour. It’s the patented Cascade sweet-tart effect.

M: Sticky, carbonated, and medium bodied.

O: Pretty good and definitely enjoyable - a cut above some of their other offerings. That said, you couldn’t get me to pay the asking price for a bottle.

Shiny clear amber with a creamy off-white collar.

Smell is acidic, seedy raspberry, rose and rosé.

Taste is also raspberry dominant, sour and sharp, with oak, but the apricot is not very present.

Thin, slick yet crisp and roundly dry.
