Pours a beautiful strawberry red with a slightly light pink head, which sticks around due to the heavy carbonation. Aromas and flavors are strongly of Cherries, raspberries, strawberry, oaky character, and plenty of tartness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a very high effervescent carbonation. Lots of drying tart character. A delicious sour.

2013 project pours red hued and bubbly, then head dissipates. Nose a bit muted, maybe some wood. Taste is overflowing with cherry. Not sweet. Really not getting the bourbon at this point. Some booze only showed when warm. Medium-light mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. A wonderful cherry drink!

I like the color pink mixed throughout this, but the head sucked. Aroma was neat, bourbon and fruits.

Taste is complex, but not necessarily awesome. Good. Sure. You get some oak and something creamy, vanilla, coconut, maybe both. Plenty of tartness, bourbon, cherry. The sour aspect is underplayed by the bourbon heavy mouthfeel.

Its a good beer, its complex, but at the price tag, it just isn't worth it. Buy a glass, not a bottle.

What a weird color this one pours out into a snifter glass. Parts pink and brown! Aroma brought the complexities, cherry, berry, apricot, bourbon. Cherry and bourbon were the strongest aromas out of it. Its Cascade, so color yourself shocked when I speak of the lactic tartness all over this one.

The taste hits up vanilla, oak and coconut on top of the previously mentioned aromas that melded well. Continues to develop, ramping up the complexity and intracacies throughout it. This is a quad base? Wouldn't know from all the additional fruit and barrel treatment. Hides alcohol well. Heaven hill barrel kinda takes top fiddle over the sour cherries. Mildly sour, nowhere near as sour as most of their beers, even other ones like Bourbonic and Vlad bring more sour to the party.

A good beer, worth $30-35? No, haven't bought any more of these. Too spensive.

Drank this one at the 4th of July party, man I will never forget that Weidman/Silva parlay card.
