On tap for Beachwood Sour Fest at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, CA.

Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Thick swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour and tart with lemon sour candy and lemon peel aromas. Taste is much the same with lemonade and lemon zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with some great lemon aromas but there is a slight lemon cleaning product presence in the flavor.
