Right next to Peterson's restaurant and marina. A decent selection of cold beer, but the warm beer section was practically non-existant. Has some good micros, as well as the normal macro selection. The selection of hard liquor is very good, but that's for another site. Store looks nice and the guy up front was very friendly. An all round good store.

Located just over the Manasquan River bridge, this small to medium sized establishment devotes a good portion to wines, both racked & shelved. The beer selection is decent (Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn, Sam Adams & Weyerbacher & all the usual imports)as long as you don't expect to find hard sought after things such as off the beaten path micros and imports, they tend to play it safe although two nice surprises were Weyerbacher's Heresy & Smuttynose Big A IPA. Prices were average for the area. Nice stop if you're in a pinch and don't want to drive all over for decent beer.

seeing as the crowd at peterson's bar and restaurant across the way is the older, bud/miller/coors crowd, that's all i expected from this place. i was pleasantly surprised. it's not the best beer store around, but it'll suffice. yes, it had your standard macros as expected, and they took up more than 50% of the cooler, but the NJ micros were represented nicely (save for heavyweight, i think...need to get some in there), as well as some new england faves (magic hat, smuttynose, harpoon) and the old standbyes (SA, sierra, anchor, etc.). warm beer selection is usually non existent, except for around the holidays when there may be some stray twelve and six packs stacked near the coolers.
