I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had Peanut butter notes galore. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with roast malt and strong peanut butter presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

12 oz can poured into Crane snifter.

Shiny black body with a beige-brown head of three fingers. Leaves sheets of lacing as it recedes.

Aroma is like opening a bag of raw peanuts. Earthy, nutty shells; slight dark coffee; faint chocolate bar.

Flavor is primarily roasted malts, followed by earthy flavors of peanut hull, wood, and faint mint; faint bakers cocoa/chocolate, slight ashy coffee, and finally a hint of metallic peanut butter. Earthy roasted malts follow through to the finish.

Feel is very creamy and full, it's fantastic. Nice moderate buzzing carbonation, and a dry roasty parched finish.

Overall don't break your back trying to find this one. It's decent but their Coffee+Milk Pinstripe is quite a bit better.

The beer pours out a dark brown color, with a thin khaki colored head--------------- the aromas are of roasted peanuts and roasted malts(not much going on)------------- the flavors are sweet with light peanut butter and bitter roasted malts, the beer has a medium mouthfeel with a roasty bitter finish------------------- overall this beer was lacking a little bit in the peanut butter department compared to other peanut butter stouts I have had

Poured into a 3oz sample glass it has a black body and a light beige head. Smell of peanut butter, chocolate, roasted malt, slight vanilla, and some coffee. Taste is the same with a big peanut butter flavor, chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, and some caramel. Mouth feel is moderate as well as body and carbonation. A nice peanut butter stout, relatively easy drinking with a slightly weaker body then I'd want but still good.

Poured into a snifter.

A: Pours opaque with a khaki head that setties into a thin layer with nice lacing.

S: A pleasant nose of chunky peanut butter with some coffee and chocolate underneath.

T: Chocolate and cofree with notes of roast and peanut butter. The peanut butter isn't artificial or cloying and isn't too intense. It builds settles slowly on the palate.

M: Light carbonation up front. A littletter thin through the body for my tastes, but certainly not to skinny for the style.

O: I love peanut butter and chocolate, and this beer doesn't disappoint. I would love a little more concert between the two, but can't complain. It's wonderful in the nose and an enjoyable beer to drink as it isn't too rich. Cheers!

22 ounce bottle into a snifter.

Pours dark, mostly opaque, with a one finger, quickly dissipating head and some foamy lacing. The smell is lots of peanut butter, malt, some chocolate, a little molasses, a little smoke when warm. The taste is a little more balanced between the peanut butter and lightly roasted malt. Some chocolate and vanilla, a little molasses and cocoa. Not a sweet beer. Mostly smooth, a good body. Not over carbonated, but has a fizziness.

Best peanut butter flavor I've had in a beer. Good flavor overall, great aroma. Worth a purchase.

Pours a deep dark rich mahogany with a caramel colored head.

Smell is big peanut butter notes, slight chocolate, and pretzel.

Taste is peanut butter up front giving way to a chewy malt middle that with the high carbonation has the taste and feel of pretzel. It has creamy mouth coating in the finish with chocolate notes. An interesting brew with big flavor, but not my favorite.

Poured from a 22 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is pitch black with a tan head. The flavor is slight peanut but overly bitter. Not a good pairing. Has a plain silver cap.

Poured into a pint glass. Beautiful looking beer. A very pleasing peanut smell with heavy lacing. Tastes almost as good as it smells. Sweet and easy drinking. Chunky mouth feel. Will definitely drink again when I have the chance. Cheers!

It's a very good-looking beer. It pours jet black with a creamy head and good retention, and it does not leave that gritty look on the glass that would make me think it would be a cavity-inducing sugar bomb.
The smell is almost all peanut butter, with a hint of chocolate and roasted malt.
The taste follows but is not overly nutty. It strikes a good balance between sweet and bitter.
The feel is satisfying, if a bit thin for a specialty stout.
Overall, one of the better expression of this style that I've had. It's clearly a peanut-butter stout and not cloyingly sweet or generically bitter. If I could offer any suggestions for improvement, it would be to make it a bit thicker and maybe a bit more complex in the flavor.

First had this "Export Stout" after a rehearsal dinner in Taylor, Miss., poured from 22-oz. bomber into over-sized wine glass. Beautiful, and aromatic, I was hopeful of a delicious Reese's Cup treat, but the combination did not really come off for me.

Poured into a snifter.

A: Chocolate brown with a tan one finger head that lingered. Frothy lacing.

S: The best part of the experience. Roasted peanuts dominate, followed by dark chocolate and malty goodness. Mmmm. Nice.

T: A creamy nuttiness spreads itself over dark chocolate and toasty malts. Let it warm for maximum punch.

M: Medium with medium, creamy carbonation. Sip it slowly and let the warmth spread.

O: On a level with Terrapin's Liquid Bliss. Would love to see some raspberries added to the mix. A good conversation piece at a gathering.

A - Pours a dark cola body with a tan one finger head.

S - Good aroma of roasted nuts, salty, milk chocolate and roasted malts.

T - The taste follows the nose. Lots of salty roasted peanut butter, milk chocolate and roasted malts.

F - Medium bodied an medium carbonation. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

O - It's kind of hard to mess up a peanut butter stout. You just need the peanut butter to shine through and this does it.

Wow, this was really disappointing. I do taste peanut butter at least. It's okay up front but leaves a really bad taste in your mouth. Compared to Willoughby peanut butter cup porter this is terrible.

Pours medium chocolate brown. Rich frothy head of about 2 fingers is dark cream in color. Head dissipates semi-quick and leaves behind fine spider web lacing. Lacing also vanishes quickly.

Aroma of roasted malt, roasted nuts, and chocolate. True peanut butter scent is mild but noticeable. A bit of toffee and vanilla.

Peanut butter comes through stronger in the flavor than in the nose. Chocolate, mildly roasted malt, and toffee. Something a bit smoky lingering underneath. Herbal aftertaste.

Creamy mouth feel. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pleasant mild sweetness.

Very well done peanut butter stout. Definitely the best I've had of the style. Love the creaminess.

A) Pours with full head giving off immediate smell of peanuts, very dark, head is light and dissipates fast.

S) peanuts, molasses, coco, Caramel

T) gives a nice roasted flavor, with roasted hints of coffee, malt, and peanuts, with caramel sweetness

M) easy body, nice and light, finishes well

O) More then I expected from blue pants. As stated before reminiscent of beer engineers. Going back for another bomber, worth trying at least once.

Poured from 22 oz bomber into snifter. $10 at the store

A: Pours a pale chocolate brown with 3-4 finger tan head that lasts a good while.

S: Roasted malts, roasted peanuts, milk chocolate, and honey.

T: taste like a reese's cup with roasted malts on the back end.

M: Full body but somewhat light and finishes clean.

O: Great desert stout for floats and pairings. Reminiscent of the Beer Engineer's PB porter but with a lil more roasted malts and not as powerful.

Poured from 22 oz bomber into snifter.

A: Pours a murky chocolate brown with healthy 3-4 finger tan head that lasts a good while and leaves some decent lacing.

S: Roasted peanuts, milk chocolate, and honey.

T: Reminds me of a little bit of a Babe Ruth candy bar. Lots of peanut butter flavor, some chocolate and caramel. The coffee notes from the base beer are all but lost.

M: Full body but not as thick as I was expecting base on the peanut butter name.

O: Very enjoyable stout especially as a once in a while desert stout. If peanut butter is your thing, this one is for you. I think I preferred the Double Stuff variant a little more...
