12 oz can at the 2019 Dublin Irish Festival.
Lands a little towards the bold side for this style.
Lacks a clear and high quality coffee note, with too much suggestion of burnt coffee and too much alcohol showing.

Pours a deep mahogany bordering black with a caramel colored head that quickly dissipates.

Smells of caramel, roasted malt, whole grain bread, coffee, and plum.

Coffee up front with a milky smoothness that flows to a caramel malt, finishes dry with dark fruit plum.

12 oz can purchased from LD's Beer Run in Jackson, MS. Best by 1/22/18. SN Spiegl.

Dark burnt black color with a creamy beige head of 1 finger.

Aroma is a wonderful mix of roasted malts and coffee grounds. The acidity and roast qualities in the nose are just fantastic. Slight lactose sweetness and pale malt sweetness as well.

The flavor is simply delicious. While the start is rough with a sharp acidic coffee note and brown malt sourness, the lactose kicks in and the coffee fruitiness and acid comes in full force and it all combines at the end to create a synergy that keeps you coming back for more sips. Creamy, silky oats just coat the palate in a light oaty graininess.

Feel is extremely silky and smooth; creamy, with a contrasting acidic sharpness and carbonation. Oat cream on the finish, with lingering acidity and very slight dryness. Zero warming alcohol.

Overall, an incredible 8% stout that is very enjoyable and warrants a better overall BA rating. Very very good stuff.

First had poured from 22-oz. bomber into tulip. My fifth of Blue Pants's Pinstripe (American Double/Imperial) Stout series, Coffee & Milk is the best so far.

Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of coffee, sweet malt, roasted malt, and a hint of chocolate. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, sweet malt, slight roasted malt, hint of hop, and a hint of sugar. Overall, weak appearance, simple great feel, and good blend.

Thick-looking and opaque. Less than half an inch of foam when first poured. Decent bit lacing. Leaves a few wisps of light foam on the surface and a ring around the edge.
The smell, at first, is all coffee and milk. As it warms a bit, a smoky note emerges. It's almost like tobacco, which may sound unflattering, but it's not bad. There are also some noticeable chocolate and vanilla notes at first, but I think they get a little bit overpowered by that ash smell as it warms.
The taste is similar, but without that ash note. Lots of coffee, some chocolate and vanilla.
It has a nice feel with medium body and moderate carbonation.
This might be the best Pinstripe variant I've had, or at least tied with Double Stuff Pinstripe Stout.

Poured into a pint glass during a bottle share at Lucky Town Brewery.

A: Blackish brown with one finger tan head that slowly recedes. Nice lacing.

S: Latte (coffee and milk, duh) with a bit of semi-sweet chocolate and vanilla.

T: So light and smooth. Lactose meets espresso. Follows nose with a sweet latte taste that only the 8% reminds you it's otherwise.

M: Low to medium with medium carbonation.

O: I wasn't really expecting this one to be stellar from hearing other drinkers' opinions. But I really enjoyed this new Pinstripe variant. It's a great breakfast stout; not overwhelming like most breakfast stouts.

L: dark with slight tan head
S: like fresh ground coffee with a hint of brown sugar
T: coffee is very predominant just a toucg of sweetness from the vanilla and still tastes of a stout
F: a fairly smooth beer not to boozey and not to bitter and goes down very easy
O: I will keep a look out for this good stout in the future

S: Big punch of roasted coffee beans mixed with vanilla and chocolate.

T: Tons of coffee with cream and sugar. A touch of vanilla and chocolate at the end.

M: Medium to full body with average carbonation.

O: Excellent coffee stout. One of my favorites in this series.
