Poured into a tulip glass.
A: Blackish brown with a mocha one finger head that dissipates fast. Soapy lacing.
S: Dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, anise.
T: Follows nose with a surprisingly good taste. The dark chocolate really rocks it. Let it warm for maximum pop. Nice coffee and vanilla mix.
M: Medium with medium, dry carbonation.
O: A decent entry from Blue Pants. Would definitely drink again. Wish I'd bought their barrel aged Pinstripe at the checkout counter.

More big thanks to richj1970 for another great breakfast stput.
Pure black, thick looking pour with a finger of light tan foam that clears out quickly and leaves bare cap and thin ring.
Light/med. strength aroma, toasty brown bread, coffee, creamy sweet, and light roast malt hints.
Med. strength taste that is a perfectly balanced blend of the flavors in the nose, with the roasty notes becoming more apparent as a bitter, lightly smoky accompaniment to the clean flavors. End of sip is all about the toasty and roasty notes, but not overpoweringly. Tasty.
Med. carb., med. viscosity, light/med. bodied, with an excellent clean finish.
Very tasty beer that drinks more like a sweet stout than an Impy, but for the flavor profile it is perfect, so I will not ding it for that. Best feature is clean coffee attains perfect balance with other flavors. Recommended.

12 oz bittle poured into snifter
A: Rich black brown brew with a little light escaping. Not much of a head but a small ring.
S: Roasted burnt alts, light coffee, nutty, chocolate, a little alcohol.
T: Light smokiness, nutty, roasted malts, light chocolate, a little oakiness
M: Medium bodied leaning toward fuller with a creamy finish.
O: This is a pretty solid stout and the light smokiness plays well off the sweet light chocolate and roasted malts making ths a really pleasing offering. I like the smoke does not overwhelm.

Smells rich of coffee. More so than it tastes. Not too thick.
