Summer 2017 version at 5.8%.

The colour is gold, the liquid clear. The finger thick head is white and compact; it sinks down leaving lots of lacing on the glass.

The smell is rather light: Some citric notes of grapefruits, mixed exotic fruits and hints of wheat and nuts.

The first taste is very malty. Growing bitterness, citric peels, lemon juice and fresh grapefruits (with some tartness). Full body. The bitterness keeps growing in the aftertaste. Citric inner peels and a cereal note of rolled oats. Lemon-lime in the finish.

The carbonation is smooth; the small bubbles long-lived. The liquid is smooth.

Is this a APA or a clear NEIPA? I think it tries booth, and does not really succeed in any of them.
