Binny's Bolingbrook is another big, brightly lit liquor store in the empire. The beer is off to the left as you enter. A set of shelves by themselves house a decent selection of bombers and 750s with some locals including Spiteful and Pipeworks. Bruery Tart of Darkness, Lost Abbey, and some other things sit on this shelf. A couple long aisles to the right carry the rest of the stock. American craft along the coolers with imports and ciders down the second aisle.

A small spattering of Scandinavian breweries and an underwhelming Belgian selection fill one side while a lacking German selection, British breweries, ciders, and alcopops fill the other. While the selection is still good when compared to other Binny's it's lacking. I'd love to see a better German showing and there was some old beer on the shelves. There were some deals sale items well worth the price. Bolingbrook Binny's is worth a stop if you're nearby but that's about it.

Binnys store review #24 of 27.

Expansive store located in/around a giant mall... first full-fledged mall Binnys i've seen (well, Orland maybe). Right inside the front door is the service desk on the left, and immediately I started peppering the staff with questions. Luckily the beer guy was present and had all the latest intel to discuss. He was later on the floor helping other customers, and didn't miss a beat when I asked about another beer later on. Great service here.

Yes the place feels a bit to bright and sterile, but at least it's clean and fairly well organized. 750's are up first, against the left wall on a high shelving area. Here we noticed some brand new Cisco stuff (Wet Hopped Brown IPA), Grand Teton (Wake Up Call), a few Boulevard Smokestacks, Hoppin Frog, and more. On the corner of the wall of coolers, there was a few doors committed to craft and import singles/bombers, which isn't the norm at most Binnys. There were large case displays of seasonals on the corners and endcaps, with a long row of craft sixers facing the coolers, where there was a good amount of cold craft sixers, somewhat limited grouping, but good. Around the corner was a long facing aisle of imports, where country of origin blurs from one to the next. In between the coolers and the craft aisle, there were cases of Breakfast Stout, Nommo Dubbel, and other seasonals.

Checkout was quick and friendly too. Overall this was a big store with a sizable selection to match. Plenty of current seasonals and stuff new to the market to keep BA's interested.

Of all the many Binny's locations I have visited, this is perhaps most unappealing atmosphere to it. It has no character at all. It was set up inside an old circuit city, and it really maintained that "big box-store" feel to it...

The pricing is in line with all the other Binny's locations-- I'm pretty sure it's mandated by a corporate office, but as I always mention, a smart consumer will be able to spot the deals and avoid the rip-offs!

The selection is nice-- some good imports that I haven't found at any other locations, and a solid selection of domestic bombers as well as 4/6/12 packs.

The staff is friendly enough, and seemed interested in beer, and I'm sure their knowledge level will increase as the store remains open for longer.

I was having lunch at the almost attached Gordon Biersch and thought that a trip to Binny's was just the ticket. Plenty of parking right in front of the store.

This is a new and large store. It is well lit and pretty well laid out. The only thing I would change was to put the seasonal beers a little closer to the normal beer aisles.

They have a very good selection of craft, imports and macro beers. The depth of the offering from the breweries is pretty deep. I was bummed that they were all out of GI Bourbon Country Stout (normal not the special versions) already.

Service was prompt and friendly enough. I may not have been talking to the beer guy as he was a little fuzzy on a few release details.

Prices were good and the use of your Binny's card can add even more to your savings.

This is a good stop if your already going to the almost attached mall.

Back in September I was very excited to read in the Chicago Tribune that Binny's would be opening a store in what used to be Circuit City at the Bolinbrook Promenade. I work very close to this new location and envisioned spending many lunch hours checking out what new brews they had in, and it's not far from the truth!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It's been nearly a couple months since the doors have open and the selection is really becoming very solid with a wide variety of regional and imports (though I can say I don't know much about the imported beers as I am still too busy trying new domestic craft beers!).

If you are in the SW Burbs be sure to stop in and pick up a 6'er or bomber of your favorite brew or try something new..you can't go wrong with a good beer. Also, be sure to tell Scott (the location's beer buyer) "hi".

Binny's has been my go-to place in the burbs before they were called Binny's. This is a new location, recently opened in a former Circuit City location at the Bolingbrook Promenade Mall. This is an all outdoor mall with lots of mid-range stores, a high end cinema ($22 for a movie, but you get reclining seats, pillows, blankets, and table service) and several good restaurants, including a brewpub.

HUGE friggin selection of beer, locals, domestic craft and imports. I found beers I've only seen in Europe (Halve Mann in Bruges included). It's amazing that I live 2 miles from another Binny's and this store has beers mine has never carried (love that three tier system, plus throw in that geography component with multiple distributers that serve some but not all stores within a chain). Found some Dogfish Head mine doesn't have(Squall and Papaskull), Odin's Tipple, FFF that mine hasn't had in months (Arctic Panzer Wolf), plus many, many more.

Plenty of help on hand if needed, but I don't typically ask for help on my first visit, just scoping the place out. But if like most Binny's, staff should be very helpful. Prices are in line with most of Chicago area.
