On tap at CBC 2016 - day 2. Fruit sourness, cherries, a bit of lambic funk, barnyard notes and subtle barrel notes. Haven’t detected any nuts, though.

Pleasantly surprised by this latest Jester King collaboration. I didn't get much pecan notes in the smell or taste, but I enjoyed the taste nonetheless. Buford's was more sour than I expected it be, but in a good way. Overall, one of the better beers of their recent onslaught of collaboration beers.

Copper brown with a pinkish, khaki foam carbonation.
Smell is smokey pecan, ham, caramel, honey, and maple.
Taste is tart acetic vinegar, with faint bacon, nutty cran-orange, and Melba toast. Sometimes going weird results in weird--nothing wrong with that, but this is certainly an oddball.
Dry.

Great beer. On draft at JK. Similar to repose with great barrel and sour notes, big body and overall just a big sour. Not super funky or farmhousey. The pecan flavor is minimal, but present. Certainly bought 2 bottles
