Cellared 3 years. Murky burnt orange body with a cream colored thin cap. Big sweet peach and barnyard funk in the nose, supporting apricot, orange, flowers and vinegar round it out. Taste starts with sour apricot and peach together, then slowly the funk and oak join in until a crescendo on the finish with wild yeast. Feel is funky and sour, medium-light bodied, dry. Good new world lambic for summer

A 12.7 fl. oz. bottle, 2017 vintage, blended on 23rd June 2017. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy golden colour (turned hazy light orange near the end) with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly and left only sparse to no lacing.
Aroma: Tart, peach, apricot, light gummy candy, funk, wet hay and a hint of wood.
Taste: Sour, tart, sour peach, apricot, sour gummy candy type sour and sweetness, vinous white grape, funk, orange pith with light vinegar and wood on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Nice peach and apricots plus gummy candy coming though. Funkiness seemed a little on the light side, but not a problem at all.

Batch 2 (2017). Poured into a SPON glass. Hazy pale orange color with decent carb that dissipates quickly into a ring. Nose is dominated by apricot ice cream, with funk, peach, and mild sewage. Palate starts with barnyard, following with a punch of sweet peach and apricot, with underlying funk throughout. Super interesting and fairly complex brew; the sweet fruits and barnyard play together well. Worth trying.
