L- Hazy straight straw colored beer with a small frothy head.
S- Yeast, hops, sour lemon and phenolic yeast. Nice on the aroma. Maybe a little spice. Rudimentary, but nice.
T- Slight, almost honey sweet followed by some lemon, spice and yeast. Bitter and very organic/earthy back bone.
F- Good and dry bitter finish per usual.
O- Although this is a very well made saison as usual from Jester King, I have to admit this one is the least memorable I've had by far. A little too toned down in my opinion. Don't get me wrong its masterful work but it's not at their full potential.

16 oz can poured into a tulip
Pours a somewhat hazy, mildly pale lemon yellow.
with a 1 finger bubbly white head leaving no lacing
Initial aroma is lemon and yeast, and I pick up the honey but it's light. There's a mild funk, like nearly fermenting bread.
Initial taste before swallowing is lemon juice with a mild sweetness and some yeast.
After swallowing I first get yeasty, sharp lemon juice, followed by bitter honey which grows in strength, tasting soft gold and brown, it's a deliciously deliciously malty undertone that hits the bottom of the back of the mouth like the milk solids that separate from oil in butter. It's then joined by floral, jasmine notes and fairly bright hops, both of which last long into the finish.

This is not my favorite Jester King beer. I found a can of this beer at our local grocery store.
Poured into a tulip glass. Bright hazy yellow color with little head or lacing. The smell is of lemon and somewhat floral. Taste is lemony with some herbal notes. A bit of honey. Thinner than most JK saisons. Probably not a repeater.

Pours a frothy foamy smallish head with med retention, a bit of lacing, hazy cloudy straw to golden color
Nose saison like malt, grainy straw cereal, light tart lemony funky acidic note, gristy malt, some sweet honey candy, mild funky farmhouse, little earthy, floral hop and spice note
Taste saison yeast up front, phenol spices and potpourri floral spices, lemon zest, bitter lemon peel, mild fruity esters, more of the gristy grainy malt, cereal, straw, creamy oatmeal, earthy gristy malt maybe spelt?, a bit of tart acidity with a little bite to it, light farmhouse funk in general, mild bready yeasty note on the back end, med bitterness in general, a touch of dried honey late, bone dry finish but a bit tart acidic as well, lingering lemon, a bit of honey, and saison spices
Mouth is med bod, very higher prickly effervescent carb, touch of acidity, carb even gets distracting
Overall interesting, would have liked a bit more of the honey to come through, but otherwise a good beer

16oz canned on 11/28/22. Opened 2-12-23.
1 finger of white head with good retention. Pale golden and clear with a plethora of slow moving bubbles. Thin, slippery lacing. Honey, very unique floral/wildflower scent, fuel aroma, and a gritty malt in the nose. Tangy lemon followed by rich honey and a grainy finish. LIght body, moderate carbonation. Lemony and dry finish. Very Good.
