Pale hazy yellow with a nice head upon pouring that dissipates quickly with no lacing. Sour lemon, grass and farmhouse funk are the initial aromas I pick up. A lot of "earthiness" in the smell. The flavors are sour citrus fruit, funk and a bit of spicy dryness one expects from a farmhouse ale. The oak is extremely subtle to my palate. If I didn't know there was oak, I don't think I would pick it up. Prickly from the acidic qualities and appropriately carbonated.

Another home-run from Jester King. Perfect earthy funk and spicy dryness paired with sour fruits make this beer perfect for a warm summer day in Texas.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Very light pale yellow. Hazy. Big white head.

Smell - Light lemon. Light oak. Some wheat and acidity.

Taste - Light and wheaty. Mild tartness. Citrusy lemon flavor. Musty and mild sweetness in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Very light. Well carbonated.

Overall - Had this next to Clara and it didn't compare. Lighter in flavor and complexity.
