Mexican Style Lager
Halfway between awesome and fantastico but with the quality you expect from the great Cervaceria de Melvin. Super simple with an abv that you can session all goddamn day. Stay thirsty bitches.
Hops: Mt Hood Malt: 2-Row and corn, yep, corn

Slightly hazy straw yellow with a modest but lasting white head.
The aroma is light malt, corn, hints of lemon, not bad.
The taste is light crackers, sweet corn and lemon, slightly sweet, just a hint tart, mild bitterness, actually much more interesting than corona.
The body is light/medium, very good carbonation, crisp and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a really nice Mexican style lager, tasty and refreshing, made for a session, should go well with most food, especially Mexican or other spicy styles, well done.

Served on tap at the Trapper Grill, Signal Mountain Lodge, Grand Teton National Park, with a lemon slice in a pint glass.
Appearance: Straw, with a very thin white head that nonetheless lingered and left some lacing, plenty of bubbles rising.
Nose: Not much, especially when I removed the lemon slice.
Mouthfeel: Medium thin, sufficient carbonation.
Attack: Bread, sweet malt, then a little peppery.
Finish: Mild hop bitterness.
Overall: Very easy drinking, and quite enjoyable. I’d certainly order it again. It’ll make a nice pairing with the quesadilla I ordered. The lemon slice compensated for the absence of much aroma — adding more nose to this very sessionable lager would be my only suggestion.

I bought a can of this beer whilst in Jackson, Wyoming during a family vacation to the Tetons and Yellowstone. The beer poured a clear golden with fizzy white head that did not leave any lace. The scent had grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp light malt base with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Drinking this at The Melvin Thai Me Up Brewery and restaurant in Jackson Hole Wyoming.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks golden yellow, slightly hazy, and a nice white foamy head that lasted.
Smells crackery, sweet, floral.
Taste follows the nose nicely with enough spiciness to keep my interest.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
Overall a very nice Mexican style beer sessionable, and I would definitely order again.
Cheers!

Purchased as a single can from Kroger for $1.69. Poured into a pils glass.
L - Clear goldenrod with a three-finger frothy baby powder head that sticks really nicely.
S - Very floral and sweet. Corn, passion fruit, and melon. Barley base.
T - Corn flakes, toasted biscuit, and heavy floral notes. Relatively sweet. Lemon zest and honey finish.
F - Medium carbonation. Refreshing. Crisp. Extremely drinkable.
O - I really, really like this beer. It's a relatively complex Mexican lager that's a million times more interesting than your usual Modelo or Corona. For the price point, this is definitely a good buy for the style. Will seek out again, and I highly recommend you do the same.

Great beer. An excellent Mexican Style Lager. Easy drinking, but still with sustenance. Really tasty. Probably my favorite from Melvin's. Sure beats out any Pacifico, or Corona by a long shot.

12 oz. can. Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Good carbonation. Aroma: malt, cracker, a little lemon. Taste: malt, slightly lemony hops, crisp finish. A decent lager, better than I expected as I'm not a big fan of the style.
