Can. Tan head. Black color.
A lot of cocoa. Light vanilla. Light barrel. A lot of roast. A lot of bitter chocolate. Not very thick. TG obviously had very little influence on this beer as it tastes nothing like a TG stout. Unimpressed.

16 ounce can that has a stamped date of canning on the lip of the bottom but it is not very legible. Looks like 3..so March something.
It pours a pitch black with a very tannish head of foam, great lacing.
Racked in Bourbon barrels for a year and it shows in the smell. Lots of Bourbon, roasted malt, cocoa, vanilla
...the aromas are on par with any of the great Russian Imperial Stouts I've ever had.
The taste is strong Bourbon, cocoa nibs, roasted malt, more Bourbon, vanilla, back and forth with the flavours. Lots of warming after every swallow. So tasty.
Full bodied with a gentle presence of carbonation.
Really really delicious.
I only saw 2 cans at the store..must have been a run on them. I bought 1.
Great collaboration that Melvin and Toppling Goliath did.

Dull black with a thin mocha film leaving Swiss cheese lacing.
The medium-full body delivers smoky roast, cocoa powder and tobacco. A semi-bitter coffee characteristic maintains balance in the fluffy yet powder dry body, as a hint of licorice comes out after the stingingly warm swallow.

On tap at the BNA party in Providence.
Dark opaque black in color with a huge frothy tan head that persists. Rich roasty chocolate and coffee with bits of fruit and earth to balance.
