This is a great IPA! Poured into a pint glass, 1 finger off white head with nice lacing. It is a honey color amber. Smells of peach, and hops. Tastes amazing, hops up front then smooth fruity with a bitter finish. This has become one of my favored IPAs, a little smoother whole feel. Hard to explain. Sweeter than Odell’s or Sierra Nevadas Torpedo which are 2 of my favorites.

Canned 1/11/18 (five weeks ago), the IPA is a deep honey color in the glass, with golden highlights. One finger of thick froth leaves bands of chunky lacing behind.

Smells a bit fruity, a little sweet. Nothing jumping out at me there.

Before I even really taste anything I notice the thick, creamy, sticky mouthfeel. Smooth carbonation really plays up how resinous this seems. Caramel malt adds to the sweetness and perceived stickiness. Orange peel, pine resin and caramel dominate. Lasting palette impressions are both bitter and sweet.

On the heavier side of the IPA spectrum, more of a sipper than a pounder.

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a conical pint glass; canned 12/13/2017.
A: Pours a hazy, golden orange color with a more than one inch foamy off white head with solid retention, and lacing.
S: Aromas of tangerine, mango, peach, and pineapple form a melange. Slightly tart and peppery.
T: Flavor is more citrusy at the grapefruit end of the spectrum. Toasty and caramel malts nicely balanced with strong bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with very persistent effervesce. Drinks rather cleanly.
O: Definitely a well designed American IPA, best for those who enjoy one well hopped and on the fruity side of flavor.

This is a great ipa. IPA is my favorite and this is the best I’ve had so far.
