Appearance is paler than I expected, slightly orange-gold in colour. Loads of hops, with plenty of piney/resinous character, a little lemony aroma, a whiff of bready maltiness.

Flavor is thoroughly hoppy, more piney/grassy than fruity, though there's a bit of citrus and tropical fruit-like flavours too. Smoothly bitter and very well balanced. Some malt and hops in the finish. Perfect carbonation and body for the gravity, very well crafted IPA. Will definitely seek this out again, a fantastic and supremely drinkable interpretation of the style.

Canned on 8/11/2016, so less than a month old, but stored at room temperature at my local Bevmo. Since it is canned, I suppose it should be ok. Threw it in the fridge to chill out for a day, popped it open the next day. Here it goes.
A - Orange with tight, off-white, almost nitro looking foam. No lacing observed on my Hennepin pokal glass. Besides that, I think they nailed the presentation.
S - I will say that the smell on this beer changes quite a bit as it warms up. When cold, the predominant smell was peaches and pine. As it warms up, you get some pineapple, green apples, mango and traces of guava. I am now left to wonder what it might have smelled like, fresh off the bottling line. Oh well, one can always dream.
T - Opens sweet with a strong presence of peaches, pine and some marmalade. The taste does not bring about as much juiciness as promised in the smell. Nonetheless, it drinks much lighter than a 7.5% ABV beer. The hops have been masterfully blended to bring about a drying, thinning, lasting aftertaste making this an extremely drinkable brew. Beware though, at 7.5%, this will get you down if you are not playing it safe.
M - Light, which is extremely surprising given this IPA is bordering on DIPA territory. Kudos to the brewmasters on a wonderful effort.
O - Very impressed with this beer. Wish it wasn't as priceyr.

Aroma is sweet, piney, resin, grapefruit, rich malt. The smell of good things.
Taste is packed with orange rind, grapefruit, pine, sweet candy-like malt, and tropicals.
Dull glowing orange appearance. Opaque.
This is a really good, assertively hoppy IPA. A must have for hop lovers.

This one pours a light orange/amber color, with a small head, and a good amount of sticky lacing.

Smells like dank grapefruit, some orange, lots of pine, and some bready/caramelly malt.

This is a pretty classic tasting West Coast style IPA. It's super crisp, with a good level of grapefruit and orange, and a sturdy, slightly sweet malt backbone. There's a good level of bitterness on the finish, nothing too crazy.

This has a pretty light body for the ABV, making it very drinkable. It's got a normal level of carbonation.

This is a good introduction to this brewery. It's a tasty, no-frills, well-executed IPA.

Poured from a can with a packaged on date of 7/12/16; into a pub glass.
Appearance - hazy, sunset orange with noticeable floating sediment and light carbonation. Head is very thin and white. Lacing is weak.
Smell - sweet tropical notes dominate with a hint of earthy hops.
Taste - dank and oily tropical hops with some grass and herb. Super flavorful with a strong hop profile!
Feel - medium body with a sweet and bitter hop tinge that's strong from start to finish!
Overall - excellent hop forward IPA in a can, that reminds me a lot of Odell's IPA, though possibly a bit more flavorful!

Drank from a 12 fl. oz can purchased at Bottleworks, Seattle, WA
Served in a pint glass

The slightly hazed, bright orangey-amber body was topped by a two-finger tall, creamy, fluffy, ecru colored crown that quickly fell to a thin film. Excellent lacing. A thin, drippy wall coated much of the glass.

The nose was a mix of equal parts citrusy hops and sweet caramel malts. Candied orange peel came through big time. Some fresh, juicy orange and tangerine notes too. All in all, pleasant yet rather simplistic for the style.

The flavor profile was similar to the nose except more pithy and dry. Sweet, crystal malt notes led things off. Next the hops appeared. Loads of juicy orange and candied orange peel. Some ruby red grapefruit came through on the back end. The finish contained notes of pithy grapefruit rind and bitter pine sap that lingered long after the swallow.

Terrific mouthfeel. The liquid was medium bodied and contained a fine, zippy effervescence that turned creamy, soft and supple on the palate.

This is definitely a roller coaster IPA - almost cloyingly sweet on the front end and bracingly bitter on the finish. With so many flavorful and balanced hop juice bombs being made on both coasts these days, I find it difficult to get excited about old-school, PNW-style IPAs, such as this one.
