I stopped in this past Saturday evening to take part in a the Full Moon cask event. I don't come here all that often, but I should, as it is a very enjoyable brew pub. It has a classy atmosphere with plenty of tables upstairs and some comfy booths in the downstairs dining room. I didn't order any food this time around, but the other meals I've had there have always been enjoyable. There are pint glasses full of pretzel sticks on the bar, which I like a lot. It;s a good way to help temper the effects of the tasty beers.

My wife and I got to the bar at 5, when the event was supposed to start, but the casks wouldn't be tapped for another 10 or 15 minutes. There was no pressure from the bartender to order anything though, she just brought us waters and gave us copies of the special beer list once they were printed up. Kai, the owner, came over to say hi to me and thanked me for coming out. He even remembered my name, which I found very impressive, as I think I've spoken to him more on this site than in real life. He also made a point to say goodbye before I left. It's little things like that that make me want to keep coming back.

Located in a hotel, this has a typical hotel bar feel. Low lighting, lots of tables. Brew pub. A large selection of just ok beer.

Stopped in here for a late dinner on a weeknight when little else was still open. In a lot of ways it reminded me of eating at a "brewpub" location in an airport. At least part of this was due to its location in a hotel lobby, but it was also due to a somewhat sterile atmosphere, not particularly beer savvy staff, and disappointing beer selection and quality.

The only aspect where they didn't fit into that mold was the food, which ended up being the high point of the visit. The food was genuinely pretty good, I had a salmon and soba dish that was well prepared and enjoyable. Unfortunately that is more than I can say for the beer. Not being from the area we didn't really know what to expect, but the beers were mediocre to bad and mostly very uninspired. Add to this that they were out of at least three of the maybe 8 beers they had on the menu and it made for a quite underwhelming experience. Not someplace I would recommend for the beer or for a stop overall, but if you were staying in the hotel and were hungry the food was pretty good.

Excellent vibe, felt comfortable bringing the whole family. Nice selection of beers, could have been bigger. The service was very good and friendly. The food was fair priced and very good. I recomend this and will definetly be back.

My wife and I stopped in here for a drink during our 5-year Anniversary trip to Portland. The beers that we tried weren't particularly good. My wife's beer was downright awful. The smell and taste made me nearly gag. The bar looked nice. The setup was kind of basic and simple and it seemed to be more about the food, restaurant than the beer. we drank about 3/4 of our pints and then left. One and done.

Very relaxed vibe, atmospheric lighting, excellent selection of sebago beers as well as some guests. I've yet to try the food but the beer I tried was delicious. And the $3/22 ounce draft special on Wednesday night was a great deal.
