A 500ml bottle with a BB of Dec 2010, so it's a little out of date. Picked up cheap from my favourite beer specialist.

Poured into a Sam Smith's pint glass. A dark reddish-amber with medium carbonation and slight haze. Produces a foamy light brown head that lasts for several minutes. A floral hoppy aroma underpinned by sweet malt - notes of grain and citrus. Fantastic!

Tastes of sweet caramel malt with stacks of aromatic hops. Plentiful citrus and floral notes, with mild bitterness giving a crisp finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and leaves the palate slightly dry. A nice aftertaste of sweet malt and hoppy flavour.

Lovely - I could happily sink a few of these. Nicely balanced between sweet and aromatic bitterness. Well worth sampling if you come across it.

Served at cellar temperature from 500ml bottle into pint mug. I've had this one a few times and its a winner, but didn't realise I've not done a BA review, so here we are.

L) Red-copper colour, clear, no bubbles visible, thin whispy film.

S) Sweetish brown sugar tones, with a bit of English hops.

T) Deep caramel flavour with a bit of a spritzy hop balance. Slight bitterness.

F) The maltiness has a certain weight in the mouth. Little carbonation or bitterness.

O) I actually didn't think this one was as good as I remember it, but still decent.
