This beer was crisp but just not enough flavor for me.

Alongside something like Goose Island's Sofie, this is one of those go-to sort of saisons, dutifully and skillfully checking off all the boxes, with a bit of spice, a bit of citrusy, fruity esters, some prickly/spicy phenols, and some signature yeast notes. Really nails the dry, yeasty character and bouyant mouthfeel of a classic saison. Well done, guys.

On tap at The Mayor in Ft. Collins. Excellent beer! Great depth for an easy drinking beer.

Funkwerks - Saison (750ml ---> Stemless wine glass : 6.8% ABV)

Pours a deeper gold/orangish color with a slight hazy, fogginess to it and a nice bubbly 2 inch head with astounding retention and many steady streams of carbonation rising from the bottom... Detecting a little citrus on the nose, nothing overly forward though, with some earthy, grassy notes hidden beneath those - and a healthy head STILL residing after about 10 minutes of resting... Initially it's lemony with spicy traces showing up here and there, followed by a pleasant straw/grassy taste in the finish with a small bitter bite for a little complexity... An extremely nice, light mouthfeel to this beer, with the heavy carbonation lending to an almost creaminess... It took drinking a fair amount of this brew to see any lacing, as the head was prominent for an exceptional amount of time... A decent amount of lacing remains, compiled mostly of considerably larger bubbles... The earthy and spicy notes in this beer give great balance to the "brighter" aspects in this well crafted ale... Another good brew - Cheers!!
