Nice thick lacing over a beautiful thick head of foam. Nose of malt, caramel, maraschino cherry, baked pineapple. Palate of rich malt, wheat bread, hay, caramel, molasses, pineapple upside down cake crust, dried mango, plenty of cardamom and other spice, booze is pretty well balanced. Mouthfeel is full and creamy. Carbonation is bright, smooth, and creamy. Pros are high intensity of flavor, rich, subtle tropical fruit, well integrated booze. Cons are pretty rich, overly malty, not very refreshing. 90/100.

S: mostly yeast driven tropical fruit, pepper, and light biscuit.

L: brilliant amber gold with a slight copper tint under a 1" white to off-white foam cap with good retention.

T: big tropical fruit flavors seasoned with pepper, hard candy, and pineapple with an assertive bitter finish.

F: Its a well balanced beer with a medium body and medium high carbonation.

O: a well made, easy to drink Saison.

Pours a deep orange with pink highlights. Thick, fluffy, 1 finger head. Big sticky lacing that tells a story as I drink the beer.
Smell is yeasty, banana and clove, spice. Soft tropical fruits too. Taste is guava, pineapple, orange, spicy yeast, doughy. Slight juicy bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied, big for a Saison, realize its an "imperial" saison. Drying finish.

L - neat while still in the bottle. Crystal clear with tiny particulates stuck in suspension like ancient yeast crystallized in amber. Pours that same amber gold with a huge fluffy head and turbulent bubble presence. Seemingly infinite nucleation. And my glass is clean! Howbow dah?

S - smells like a beautiful, quintessential saison. Robust flavors of spice, clove, and lemon. Bananas and slight Hefe presence. Candied orange rind. Great.

T - first a deep caramel sweetness hits and then the clouds part and a ray of sunshiney tropical black peppery fruit punch descends from the heavens. As it warms, peach and mango bring life to this beer. More clove and banana come through in the middle with slight vanilla extract on the finish. Boozey honey candy reminds me this has alcohol in it!

F - smooth and full-bodied, except for that head. When I poured this, I was worried it would be over carbonated, but thankfully it was in appearance alone. Or it just burnt itself out. Gotta make sure not to sip with a gaping maw. Avoid letting any of that head in and you're looking at a sweet treat.

O - great saison. Refreshing, but also the right touch of cloy. I like boozey beers, and while this isn't "boozey", the high ABV does wonders to pull the flavors together in a mature package.

11.2 oz bottle with a bottled on date of 8.3.2016

L - Golden and cloudy, with 2 fingers of head, and tons of lace left all over the glass

S - Belgian candy sugar, citrus hops. Great aroma.

T - mildly spicy, pepper, coriander, and citrusy hoppy.

F - well carbonated, medium body

O - Very tasty hoppy saison. An enjoyable slow sipper
