On tap at the Rochester Taproom in Rochester, NY.

Pours a clear golden amber, with a half inch head, and some decent lacing down the glass.

Smells a bit grassy and piney, with a strong caramel malt flavor.

The taste is similar. For being a "double version" of the regular Roy Boyd's pale ale, this could have a stronger hop flavor. Luckily, the malt bill is fairly interesting, some caramel and toasted bread. The hop flavors run the typical grassy and pineyness. The brewers told you to look our for some fruit flavors that I didn't really pick up.

Light to medium bodied, crisp mouthfeel, medium carbonation, very drinkable.

Naked Dove is a good brewery, but they don't honestly do hoppy beers all that well. This is tasty, and serviceable, but nothing all that interesting.
