A prunish consistentancy. Some char prune flavour. A top notch porter and it is nicely drinkable. Private buying order participation. Worth trying out.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown/black color porter with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of black cholate notes with some plum notes is interesting. Taste is also a mix of rich chocolate notes with some fruity notes of plum with a dry finish with very little residual sugar notes showing. Body is about average with good carbonation. Complex mix of flavours which brings this beer to another place.

Brown color, almost no head. Aroma head smoked malt, sweet notes, briny barbecue notes. Taste is sweet, briny, dry, a bit fruity with dried dark fruits, light earthy bitterness on the finish. Medium body with light carbonation. Quite good but not spectacular.

Tasted from bottle. Pours black with light thin tan head. Aroma is smoky, very meaty with some chocolate notes. Flavor is moderately sweet with slight bitter burn. Smoked meats, caramel, coffee, chocolate, spicy, smoky, dark fruits. Complex and very well done.

Dark brown body with a small beige head that fades to nil within a few moments. The aroma brings a heavy dose of peat and smoke. Brown bread, smoke, sausage, campfire, dark fruit. A polarizing aroma and flavor. I happen to love it. Complex and wonderful. Lingering notes of cigar and ash. Unique, delicious, creative.

500 mL bottle, I think? Black body. Smells of dark fruits and smoke. Roasted malt and dark chocolate. Taste is just as intense on the dark fruits and smoke. Plus some strong roasted malts and some bitterness. Heavy body. Pretty sweet. I don't get Top 50 hype from this, but it's really good.
