strange but I guess I never reviewed Goze, or it got lost in a crash perhaps. Anyways thanks to rudzud for sharing this one.
Pours a big creamy foamy 1 finger head that fades fairly slowly, decent lacing, hazy milky orange pale color.
Nose is really interesting, orange cream aroma with little fruit that's like orange and lemon and kumquat combined, with an interesting coriander note in the background and hint of salt, mild tart note and little malt.
Taste stats with a nice sour note, good tartness with little citrus, little orange and lemon too, actually quite lemony, with little coriander spice note and hint of salt. Mild sour wheat flavor with more toasty wheat. Finish is dry and lots of cracked wheat cracker, little salt, little coriander, nice tartness and little acidic bite.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice carb, little acidic bite and tartness.
Overall pretty nice. Good tartness with interesting fruity citrus, and spices, nice wheat, pretty tasty.

poured from a 22oz bottle, dated 23 Oct. 2013, into a snifter.
Appearance: cloudy, golden yellow. A thin head leaves a good bit of lacing
Smell: lemon, yuzu(?), other citrus, and a touch of malt.
Taste: wow! hints the front of the tongue with a momentary sweet and fruity flavor, but this is quickly followed by strong sour flavor. Lemony and quite sour, but not like the puckering sourness of an actual lemon. Lightly salty.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body; nicely carbonated.
Overall: Better, and perhaps less challenging, than their regular Gose. Loads of well-crafted flavor in a low ABV brew.

On-tap
A - Hazy yellow with a hint of orange and a small white head
S - Salt, tart orange, light sweettarts and vinegar.
T - Tart vinegar, saltwater, light wheat presence, grapefruit and orange peel. Finish is a light tart citrus and slightly bitter grapefruit.
M - Thick, chewy beer with a tartness that lingers on in the finish
O - A good tart gose that isn't as salty as the regular as the fruit tempers down the in your face saltiness of Gose but adds adds an additional complexity that you don't get in the original. It also softens the flavors in the original which makes this one more approachable.
