Can dated 3/30/2017:
Pours with a highly hazed white ale body. Couple of tips of the can were necessary to get all the liquid into the glass without overflowing the head. A light film of tiny bubbles cover the surface, with a thickening at the edges.

Nose is initially a standard Gose, but in a blink of an eye, the extra ingredient reminds you the name of the beer. Very much more lime tart, but there is a faint meringue note that I am willing to admit could be power of suggestion. There is a light waft of the sea as the scents fade.

The taste leans more heavily on the lime. Wheat actual comes up front, but just like the nose, the lime is assertive after giving me a brief chance at the malt. At this point, the beer is a little watery, but the body seems to fill a tad as the carbonation starts to prick my tongue - almost like making tiny cuts for the lime to get into and provide a certain low level burn. Puckering, but halfway through my mouth has gotten used to it. The ending isn't as tart or salty as it could be, and the coriander makes its appearance known here.

I think the nose was spot on, and the taste and feel combined just didn't mesh well enough to take it to the next level. The level it came across as was very enjoyable, regardless.

Tinkering with the acclaim of their famed Westbrook Gose, the layering of flavors can improve or ruin the balance that's so meticulously sculpted, but with key limes adding to the culinary art seems to have given the sour, salty, German beer another taste of contention if not improvement.

Hazy gold with a lemony lightness, the beer's spritzy froth rises and falls with a bold perfume of citrus, cider, white wine, tropical fruit. As the flavors creep onto the tongue, the sweetness offers a quick greeting of dough, wafer and powdered sugar before dissolving off the palate completely.

As the sweetness retreats, the sourness builds in- lemon, lime, crabapple, white grape and kiwi strikes the middle with berlinerweiss-like sourness. White wine and cider crawl in next before the bulk of taste relies on a margarita salty-citrusy interplay. Leading with lime, the bitterness of citrus peel and gin bridge the gap between fruit and hops.

Medium-light and tightening into a dry, acidic and spicy finish, the beer's saline character gives the beer a slightly elevated sense of flavor that just brightens the lime along with many of the beer's finer sour and earthen nuance. A quick aftertaste of verbena, pepper and dry hay keep the complexity in taste coming.

This beer pours a super hazy bright yellow with a one finger, fizzy white head that dissipates almost immediately and leaves no lacing. Smell is tart lemon, corriander, and lime juice. Taste is similar. Tart lemon at first that quickly gets swept aside by a huge burst of juicy lime flavor and finishes dry. Very tart. Feel is light, crisp and super refreshing. Overall this beer is awesome. An excellent variation on a wonderful base beer. Seems like the possibilities are endless for different variants.

Pours a hazy gold color with a decently retained half inch white head that left little lacing. Smells like lime juice with a hint of sweetness. Tastes of lime, lime zest, lactose sweetness, salt, crackers and moderately sour . Light bodied, medium carbonation, tart, sour and refreshing. Pairs great with Mexican food.

Hazy and pale gold beer with a white head that fades quickly and leaves no trace it was there. The aroma is seawater, fresh key limes, sourness and yeasty notes. The taste is massive amounts of key lime with salt and sour. The fresh lime taste is amazing. This thing tastes like a margarita. Great beer.

Poured from can into glass. Disclaimer- I generally not a gose/sour beer drinker as they do not sit well on my stomach.
Hazy, yellow (old gold) color. Nice carbonation with reasonable head. Smells like a sour with gentle hint of lime. The lime flavor coats the palate and carbonation plays along for a very light and refreshing taste. Well done!

Hazy gold, with quickly-dissipating white head.
Aroma is lactic sourness, (bottled) lime juice, & something ....fresh, like a cool breeze on a hot day.

Flavor is a jammy tartness, mild touch of fresh lime (less so than w/ aroma), followed by the briefest hint of something sweet, then citrus pth bitterness, on the tip of the tongue.

Feel is slightly oily, with the tiny prickles of very fine carbonation.

Very good, and probably would be even better on a warmer day. (It's 71F, w/ a cool breeze, on a non-work day. :) )
