got to Westbrook in May on way to Maine and they HAD this on draft only. OMG! Normally don't do volume drinking but since my wife was there, and NOW driving, I had a second one. I've had Cake before but this was Cake on steroids. Peppery to be sure but just superbly well done. Not for the faint of heart, mine stopped for awhile, but I came to and all was right in the kingdom.

Spicy, not much maple, and thinner than I would hope for a BA stout. Glad to tick this one nonetheless.

2018 bottle - flavors still pretty sharp, with nice heat and plentiful barrel notes. Maple and coffee are subtle, but it all works together really nice.
