Shared 375 ml corked & caged bottles at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, tan head. Aroma and flavour of roast malts, chocolate, roasted nuts and dark dried fruits, just a pinch of sea salt. Sweet, but very good.

A 22 fl. oz. bomber, bottled on 27th November 2017. Poured into a snifter glass.
Appearance: Dark dark brown to black in colour with a very thin brown head that dissipated quickly while leaving some spotty lacing.
Aroma: Roasty, chocolate, cocoa, dark fruit, prunes, vanilla, cream.
Taste: Light roast, moderately sweet, chocolate, cocoa, prunes, dates, with vanilla and caramel notes.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, full bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: A nice sipper although the prune and dates flavours were a little sweet and syrupy for me.

Just last month i had their 8th Anniversary stout and realized that I had the 4th, 5th, and 6th editions, but missed the 7th... Well, fixing that right now, as one of my local shops still had some on hand... 12/6/17 bottling date...
Black pour and black-bodied, with a few fingers of dark foam on top... Packs a big chocolate syrup and marshmallow punch - the salt just makes it taste sweeter and fudgier... Additional notes of molasses and vanilla make this a sweet stout with little to no bitterness... Full-bodied and soft, smooth and plush... A real liquid chocolate treat...
As with the others in the series, I have been consistently pleased...

Received in a trade and shared with JLindros who apparently already had this.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown almost black with a thin mocha head that fades to leave nice blanket and creamy lacing.
S - Big aromas of chocolate fudge, little caramel, light sea salt. Like standing over a bowl of brownie batter.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of fudgy brownie batter. Rich dark chocolate fudge and chocolate cake batter. Little bit of sea salt and flash of caramel. Just crazy fudge brownie.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, creamy, thick and luscious. Alcohol hidden really greatly.
O - Overall this was a very solid stout with excellent fudgy chocolate brownie notes. Super chocolate!
