Hazy pale corn milk yellow with a short, bright white head quickly dying to a sparse film.

Pretty sharp, that classic hop and acidic fruit combo makes for a fairly abrasive feel, but the juicy NEIPA-style hoppiness does jump far ahead of any mild pineapple character.

16oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours a turbid orange color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a film on top and leaves some lacing behind

S- juicy orange juice and zesty grapefruit peel, pithy, slightly resinous, pineapple, vanilla, milk sugars

T- juicy citrus hops up front gives notes of tangerine and grapefruit, followed by fresh pineapple juice. Mid-palate gives notes of creamy milk sugars and vanilla. The finish gives more juicy citrus with a hint of vanilla on the linger

M- medium body with moderate-low carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns into a creamy finish

O- high drinkability with a nice citrus and pineapple note throughout, the lactose adds just a hint of sweetness

L: Had this beer on-tap at Westbrook, poured into a taster. Had an orange / yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy somewhat long-lasting head. Good lacing.

S: A very nice aroma of tropical fruit, citrus fruit, hops, vanilla, and malt.

T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (barely noticeable), lots of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a good shot of vanilla, a below average amount of hops (not too much), and a lot of tropical fruit (pineapple, of course). A light, fruity, and sweet flavor. There's a slight chalkiness, but it's not a huge factor. Quite tasty stuff.

F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth and creamy finish. Light- to medium-bodied.

O: A very much enjoyable beer. Drinkable.

L - 2-finger bright white head atop a murky yellow body.

S - definitely pineapple. Vanilla, caramel, orange candy.

T - pineapple, lactose, orange juice, vanilla. Tastes like a pineapple upside-down cake. Chalky middle, alas. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - a tad too sweet but digging the pineapple.

Very good hazy by Westbrook. Pineapple is not too sweet but subtle. Vanilla and milk sugar mellow it out so there’s little to no bitterness. Overall a solid milkshake IPA

Served in a tulip from the can.

Appearance: Cloudy gold to orange color with medium bubbles to the body. White head rose pretty thick just about two fingers length.

Smell: citrus and floral. Light scent which dissipates quickly.

Taste: Sweet citrus and touch bitter. Had a touch spice to the brew but it's subtle.

Mouth: Tasty strong aftertaste but it is a tad dry. Light hoppy finish.

Overall: Pretty good beer. Not perfect but does beyond the job, my opener for the night. Salud!

Canned 04/03/19. Bought at Loosa Brews, Tuscaloosa, AL.

Deep golden pour, a good finger of frothy head rises up. Spots of lace appear as the beer falls.

Loads of pineapple and citrus on the nose. There’s a touch of grassy hops on the back end, but a nice fruity introduction to this beer. The vanilla comes out, but more as a compliment and definitely not as a prevalent aroma. Regardless, you do get a nice pineapple yogurt nose.

Again, pineapple here is really nice and the vanilla definitely shows up to the party. Good balance of tropical fruit and sweet nilla, with a subtle hop presence cutting through and leaving just enough of that softness from the lactose addition.

Soft, creamy mouthfeel, perfect feel for the style. The slightest touch of hop bite, with a little bit of residual mouth coating left behind.

Appearance - Pours hazy orangeish yellow with a huge what head, lots of spotty lacing around the glass.

Aroma - Getting lots of vanilla on the nose, orange and some light sweet pineapple, a light bitter citrus rind poking out as well. Getting a little aspirin as it warms.

Taste - Taste is a bit chalky getting the vanilla although lighter than the nose. Mild orange and a bit of sweet pineapple. Taste starts off pretty sweet and then changes to a slightly bitter finish.

Feel - Medium bodied, low carb soft slightly creamy with a bit of dryness on the finish.

Overall - A decent attempt but I think it falls a touch short. Flavors are a little weak and watered down, just falls a bit flat for me.
