A 1 pint 0.7 fl. oz. bottle, bottled on 6th March 2019. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.

Appearance: A ruby reddish purple colour with a two finger pink head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.

Aroma: Blackberry, blackcurrant, Ribena, grape jelly, oak, lightly vinous.

Taste: Lightly sour, tart, blackberry, oak, vinous, with a hint of blackcurrant.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: Nice easy drinking dark berry sour.

From a 16.7 oz. bottle into a PAA wine glass, this beer pours out like a light grape juice. It forms a pinky worth of sea foam pink colors that disappear before they get the chance to stick together. Highlights of red grape.

The nose brings a light, juice like berry presence. Smells somewhat thin, if that makes sense. Pleasant, but underwhelming.

The first sip offers more intensity than the nose suggested. Light jammy notes, fresh picked and natural berries. Very balanced.

Tart, but not completely mouth puckering. Somewhat still, low carbonation but it does add up and get some air caught in your throat.

Overall, it’s very enjoyable.
