Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.80%

Notes / Commercial Description:
A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermentor for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

Poured from a can, a yellow orange body that is hazy and unfiltered. aroma is tropical, pineapple citrus, grapefruit, taste matches. Well balanced IPA. Very drinkable.

Poured from can dated late December into snifter. Radiant orange color, a sight to behold. Really a beautiful beer to look at, those little carbonated bubbles stick to the glass like they are holding on for dear life. Tastes of sharp citrus fruit. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy. This is a delicious IPA, I don't see it around my shops on Long Island often, but if it were it would be a damn fine Go To.

Couldn't find a canning date, my hunch is that this one may be a bit old given the reviews I've read. Beautiful honey-orange color. Slightly hazy. Large thick head with good retention. Great aroma upon cracking the can, but it seemed to fade very quickly. Flavor was more English IPA. Focus on malts and very mild bitterness. Body is quite smooth and on the full side of medium. Nice beer.

On tap in Charleston, clear golden pour with frothy thick white head. Aroma of mouth watering pine. Malty, smooth and not too bitter, this stuff is so drinkable! Head retention and lacing were remarkable

Slightly hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma is balanced with a nice underlying malt sweetness and some juicy hops. Taste starts hoppy and slightly sweet with caramel malt and ripe fruit notes. Finish and aftertaste are quite bitter with lots of grapefruit and resiny hops. Body is medium and has good carbonation. A more classic approach of the IPA style but very well executed.
